247 reported papers were filed with sec.
If UGA did not file with the sec, then he can go somewhere else without sitting. But yes, if uga filed then he has to sit. And either way, nobody can talk to Evan's to even persuade him regardless of what uga did. UGA had a deadline to file papers. The fact that we aren't hearing zach commit to anyone else tells me the papers have been filed and there is nothing anyone can do until uga gives release. So yes, recruiting for Evan's is over.

Idk if this guy is worth it. He is going to be a cancer to the locker room wherever he goes I'm pretty sure and I don't think we want someone like that here. He will cause discord in the team and frick shite up. All it takes is one guy like that to frick up the chemistry on a team and make a big difference between success and failure as a team. He can kick rocks. If he does come here, the coaches need to make it known to him from day one that all of his selfish bs isn't going to be tolerated and it's all about the team at LSU...not one person, and it doesn't matter how good of a player you are, bc we will have elite talent with or without him and will be successful with or without him. One player isn't going to make or break our team or program...unless it's a player like Joe burrow, who is the on the level with tebow as far as leadership and being a great teammate is concerned. Players like burrow come around once in a lifetime to a program and Zach Evans won't be him.

He won't be the biggest ego nor the best talent in the locker room. He will redirect that ego and talent towards the team... or the team will reject him and he will end up being a wasted 25 spot.
But that's more likely than he proving to be a cancer that destroys the locker room. The locker room would destroy him first.

Then makes 1 of our 3 RBs on the roster right now transfer due to competition.

Big friggin deal he had disagreements with a Coach. Let me tell you, I played football for 18 years and I had a few sorry arse coaches along the way.
The sorry arse coaches in this case won the state championship in a high classification in Texas after suspending their 5* running back.

Neither you nor I know exactly what happened, but I read this might have gotten physical.

Evans will be locker room cancer. A player like that is not a good take. A head case effects everyone negatively

Time to stop talking about him and move on. He is only going to regress from here.

Look, Evans is an incredible talent, but sometimes the wrong personality can be a poison to the locker room and team chemistry.
LSU has a completely different culture now, and not every generational talent will fit in with said chemistry.
"One Team, One Heartbeat" leaves little room for prima donas that cause arrhythmia.

Thank god our players aren't as big of pussies as this board is. By my count, every RB we have had ,including Kevin Faulk, has been destined for a transfer due to us having (I know this is Crazy) more than just them on the roster as a RB. I can't wait until next Monday so we can go ahead a curb stomp Climp, and I can avoid this board and not have to read this shite until August..

Evans was said by Georgia 247, will not be a part of the Georgia class.

I guess im in the minority here but i say if he wants in you let him in. I wouldnt go chasing him but if he calls and asks in, you tell him sign and keep your nose clean or take a hike. Evans is elite and we are in a perfect position to take a chance with him. We have 4 capable quality running backs now, 3 if CEH leaves which i think is enough to get by in the season with evans coming in that would put us back to 4 with little expections of him but a high high ceiling. Worse case scenario, hes trouble and leaves team, we have an injury or two at the postion. In that case we have a team littered with athleticism to play the position, lots played the position before in high school.

Gibbs is less of a risk, but Evans is the better back. He’s a gamble. Just depends on if you want to gamble. LSU really isn’t in a position of needing to gamble right now whereas other programs are. I’d take Gibbs if given a choice. If not, then I’d give Evans a shot but cut him lose early if he doesn’t get his shite straight.

The kid can change given the right support structure. My concern is the idiots surrounding him that allowed this shite show to take place. I’m talking his recruitment fiasco not past disciplinary issues.

Agree with u, will take hubbard, Gibbs or Frank brown
