With all the Portal talk, thought I'd share a HS recruit that's super pumped to be a Tiger! Love the part where he says next year in Death Valley we beatin Texas by Fiddy Lol. Horns down

Could anyone tell who his roomate is? Was trying to figure that out.
Cool to see how all of his aunties/grand-mas came out from Scotlandville to help with the move in.
Hope we get to see him tote the rock at some point in his LSU career

I think Brysten Martinez.
Deuce’s dad looks like he can throw on the pads and still play.
I think Deuce will get some run as a freshman. He’s a smaller DT but he’s already so put together that I think physically he’ll be ready. Watched some clips and his hands are violent and really advanced for a HS guy.

I agree, but I think he is the perfect height at 6-2, (275 lbs). Low man wins.
Some of my favorite all-time DTs were in that 6-1, 6-2 range: Aaron Donald, John Randle, Warren Sapp, Glenn Dorsey, LaRoi Glover...but they all played in that 290 lbs range. Deuce needs just a little more bulk but he's close to ideal.

Went to high school with one of them he is a defensive player analyst so I assume he scouted deuce

With all the portal madness, agents, etc it's awesome to see a kid and his parents fired up about moving into a dorm at LSU. Deuce was a huge get and can't wait to see him in purple & gold!

I had the opportunity to see him in the state playoffs against Lowndes High School in Valdosta GA. He was wearing LSU gloves in the game and he’s very fast and physical. He wasn’t able to go full speed because he was also playing running back.
When he did go full speed on passing downs, he could not be blocked one on one. Lowndes had to double and sometimes triple team him.

He should get snaps next year, along with Anderson. The DT spot is more quantity vs quality, they could really make a push with how talented they are.
Geralds might be a guy Lane uses in the backfield, too.
