If we get him and Williams, we will have 12’ worth of QB’s. Drew Brees U.

How tall is he?
That appears to be his big negative.

I dvr all CFB games that are broadcast on YouTube. Elon only had one game televised this season. It was their season opener vs Duke (& Tulane-transfer QB Mensah). It was Landen's first game as a RS freshman.

It wasn't the worst QB performance I've seen this year, but he mostly looked like a typical freshman starting an opener. Lots of 3 & outs, hurried overthrows, relied on his feet oftn/scrambled from the pocket too soon into sacks, timing/missed connections, stalled drives, etc..

But every now & again, you could see his potential. Big gains with quickness on designed runs or short-distance gains on RPOs, flashed touch/ball-location on big chunk yardge pickups, superior arm-strength/great zip for nice gains, etc...He was 10 of 16 for 101 yds, no TDs but also no INTs. Duke won 45-17.

Outside of highlights, unfortunately this game was the only full game I could watch and my impression I got was "Raw, but man, he has the tools." I know he got better, but he's definitely not ready for primetime if forced into SEC action prematurely. Kiffin could potentially make him a star.

Radford, Virginia is a long way from south of Lafayette and also the opposite culture wise. Surprised Va Tech has not offered him being literally 10 miles from Radford.
