Rumor is he had a pretty bad inhome visit with Stud, which lead to his dad getting pissed off? I might be misquoting an already misquoted rumor though

that right there is why I keep wondering if this is a ruse. Possibly orchestrated by Burns/Napier, possibly by Kings/BGuice, to hurt LSU. It doesn't have to be going down like this.... so why is it?
This isn't just a "tinfoil hat" thing. If it wasn't for Shows Bama/Kings/Guice would have led LSU along a lot longer with CRob. Is this another opportunity to strike out? Shows can't interrupt this one.

If the team doesn't want a player, why would he do this? Would be awkward and in no one's best interest to just force his way in. He'll clearly have options. I've heard Saban contacted him Friday.

exactly, there's no point to it unless you thought LSU would drop Adams and clearly LSU's hasn't bitten.
