One cannot deny that in 2024 Nussmeier through for over 4000 yards and like 30+ touchdowns. That is remarkable numbers for a P4 college quarterback. However, when it came to escaping out the pocket with his feet, he struggled severely.
Leavitt seems to be more of a combination of pocket passer and very good scrambler. 2nd however, that scrambling ability may be hindered because of the lisfranc injury.

Nuss wasn't developed like he should have been while BK crew was here.
Now that I think about it.who was developed on offense?
Oline frick no
WR not really
QB nope. JD was good regardless IMO
RB nope.
We keep saying these offensive guys suck but maybe they didn't get developed like they should have been.

Hopefully he has better decision making.
In a related aspect, (not read/progresion related) a strength Leavitt has is his decisiveness.
If he decides to run, there is no hesitation or dancing around. It's an up-field rush through a gap..or rolling out/extending plays to connect with a WR.
Leavitt might rely too much on his zip to squeeze a pass between two defenders...or be off on ball location/accuracy 3 out of 10 times, but decisiveness to pass or run is not an issue. He commits.

At least he didnt have MVB penciled in over Nuss

Your QB assessment took a never recoverable hit on that escapade. Not another P4 coach thought he was starter material. But you did. Repeatedly

Other than mobility,
LOL! The one thing that makes him 100% not like Nuss...

I’d say similar.
Is he a better decision maker?

I would loved to see a healthy Nuss play his senior year.
