Bech has outward running motion.
I now see the knock on him with the open field speed

Are you saying he’s slew footed? A guy named Lebron James is too. There’s no requirement that says you have to be a 4.4 or better guy to be a great player. Jack Bech is going to be a pleasure to watch at LSU for 4 years.

Love the way he breaks tackles after catch

Did we watch the same highlight?

He won’t push SEC DBs out of a backpedal. He’ll be good, but I expect him to be like Thad Moss was.

Damn Walker Howard is ridiculously impressive as a high school junior. Huge pick up for the tigers.

None of those high school kids want to tackle him. He’s a monster after the catch. I hope they use him correctly

Does he play defense too? His highlights remind me of Craig Steltz

Big bodied receivers/hybrids aren't asked to "push dbs out of a backpedal." They're used to exploit mismatches either by blowing by safeties or linebackers or by bodying up and boxing out corners.

Jack isn’t a burner by any means but calling him Thad Moss is insulting

Steltz was a RB/S in high school. Rummel rarely threw the ball.

I think he got an auto-correct off of “awkward”.

Thad was slow & I doubt he’s dunking a basketball like Bech is

Different type of athletes and it’s not even really close

Bech has been coached by a top tier receiver coach and will come in as a very polished route runner and ability to create separation. That coupled with his big body, will mitigate the fact that he’s not a 4,4 guy. I think he has a lot of potential to be a solid player at the SEC level.

Is bech going to any all star games? Could be a chance to improve his ranking if he does well against better competition

Wow. Really paying attention to Howard for the first time. Very impressed how well he moves in the pocket for being in his first real year playing on Fridays.

Yeah when you remember that he’s a junior in high school, it’s pretty damn impressive. It obviously helps when Bech is just overpowering the DBs for the ball, but a couple of those deep throws would have been beautiful for a college QB.. and this kid is in 11th grade.

I hear you man. He kinda reminds me a little of Wes welder, Julian Eldeman or Eric Decker.

A real gym rat, bring your lunch pail to work type of player, a real blue collar guy.

Either give an accurate response or just say “he’s a white guy with speed so he reminds me of another white guy with speed”
