But since those are "highlights", I assume those were his best plays. As I said before, I saw nothing approaching sensational at all from that game.
He was 9 for 9 as a freshman with 70 yards and a touchdown. Then averaged 7 yards per carry and 2 TDs. So his highlights and best plays are one in the same as he didn’t have a single “bad” play in the entire half lol. Now to say a half against MO ST is the end all be all? No of course not. But you can not look at that and say “eh he could have done better”. He literally couldn’t have.

Actually, 9 completions for only 70 yards means he didn't have any passes other than short outs, etc. I watched the highlights and already mentioned in another post that he didn't even attempt a long pass. I assume his arm is fine but you couldn't prove it by that game...he never attempted a pass of any length.

not only is he TINY
6 ft 200lbs. is not tiny. Stetson Bennett was smaller and won back-to-back national titles playing in the SEC.

It was a blowout from the time he got in. Were you in the coaches ear seeing how he was calling the game? I’m probably not qualified as I did not watch any of the game. But you also csnt say that without watching the game and seeing how Lincoln Riley was actually calling it. I doubt he was trying to air it out 50 yards being up by 5 TDs

He did have a 25 yarder. Now what were the air yards I have no idea.

Bro I agree, I see Tate Martel, Walker Howard watching him. He's got potential for sure, really compact athletic build but his throwing motion looks kinda violent or forced witch usually leads to alot of accuracy issues. Id love to get him in and see what the coaches can do with him regardless but that isn't what I expecting watching what little film there is on him with all the hype surrounding the guy.

Wow, very similar to the style of Williams. It was only one half of football but imagine him working with Lane / Charlie. I see the vision.

He's perfect for Kiffin's offense. You have to keep him here. There's not a better known young prospect in the portal, and though I'd love to see us land Leavitt as well, We can't keep waiting on him. Sign Longstreet, Clark, keep working on Leavitt, then let whomever signs battle it out.

He moves very deliberately and decisively, but quickly.

He better learn to slide

I saw the play...the pass was a 5 yard pass and 20 yard run after catch. I will repeat what I have been saying. All his passes were very short.

I don't care how Lincoln Riley was calling the game...immaterial. What I have been saying and it is 100% objective statement...NOT opinion. There is absolutely nothing in his highlights against Missouri State that supports his passing ability. 0%. Oh, and BTW, I'm NOT a star gazer but that has been brought up about him. 247 Sports now has dropped him from a 5* to a medium 4* rated QB. Once again, that is a fact you can look up.
