Frank Wilson is going to be fine head coach in one of the LA colleges soon. ULL seems like a good place to start next year. He may one day be LSU's first black football HC.

Regardless of whether these recruits wanted to go to LSU all along, this is pretty amazing to get these guys signed so early considering their talent. If their signing is all on the shoulders of Wilson, then that's pretty damn awesome and I'm extremely happy he's on our staff!!

I'm actually more excited about his rb philosophy than his recruiting

yeah. Me too. Maybe he will leave some of the good backs in long enough for them to feel the game.

To bad keiland will be gone. He never had a shot.

what you mean? i really don't know a ton about the guy other than a few snippets here and there. i know he's got some sort of mind control over LA recruits and has bounced around a good bit usually moving up each time. what's his "philosophy"?

Wilson will lock down Louisiana as long as he is here.Porter will be missed in Texas.Hopefully Wilson or Gonzales can handle that as well.

I think it really shows how good his rep is in this state.
Beyond a doubt, the word as to already be out that Wilson is a big concern to other major teams trying to recruit La., that if LSU wants a kid, chances of that recruit leaving are now slim to none. I am also not concerned about Wilson leaving anytime soon, he is happy to be back in La., don't see him getting an OC job anytime soon at a major school, or a Head Coaching job at some other La. school...

I completely agree.I've talked to some Auburn guys and even they think that the door to Louisiana is closed to outsiders if LSU wants a kid.

he's basically told the backs that the no rhyme or reason to subsitutions era was over, and he wants one guy to become a Heisman candidate. Its one reason why I don't think all is lost with Lache
