They aren’t cooked. We will see at least 3-4 more. Strategy is changing, LSU is about to slam the portal. Freeing up more money.

Swinson has disappeared from compared to his early season All American pace. He's pretty trash against the run too.
I think he could he a mid 3rd rounder at best in his current form.

Probably because this roster needs way more than a few 4 star HS kids to make any noise. Kelly is going into year 4 and hasn’t been able to stabilize the talent gap with the current model.

Lsu should take a stand and just lose with 2 and 3 star kids from Louisiana who love the school. Get blown out every week in SEC play and tell our fans to take comfort that at least OUR rich boosters aren’t giving their hard earned money to kids, unlike those dumb rich boosters at Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, A&M, and Auburn.

LSU had 28 committed players 2 weeks ago. I think any logical person would think that the chances of all 28 sticking was highly improbable.

You realize before this we had more commits than essentially all of the top schools correct? Or do you not realize that that makes it much more likely we’d lose a commit to another school and not the other way around? It’s not a tough concept.

Correct. It's end of the year budget blowout time. These other schools in power 4 conferences get tv money too and also have a "cap" of money theyre going to spend. Many are below the cap and have money to blow. Team A has 450 grand available, team B has 275. Team A wins. Timing be damned. It pays to be a highly recruited hs star in late November. Gonna be a wild few days. Unfortunately we only seem to have possible losses to look forward to. Maybe we can salvage Solomon Thomas out of the deal.

I doubt they will pony up for Thomas. Fsu overpays.
