Current O-linemen ranked 4 or 5 stars coming out of high school.

Carius Curne - 4 Stars
Tyler Miller - 4 Stars
Solomon Thomas - 5 Stars
Bo Bordelon - 4 Stars
Tyree Adams - 4 Stars
Ethan Calloway - 4 Stars
Weston Davis - 5 Stars
Coen Echols - 4 Stars
D.J. Chester - 4 Stars

Sure some of these guys may be busts but there is no way that every single one of them is a bust. 100% a failure by the coaching staff to develop them and make them into a formidable SEC offensive line.

Just a guess, but some of the talent already on the roster is going to end up shining a lot more under new management next season.

Strength and conditioning is #1. We have a lot of out of shape OL that need an intense spring and summer workout schedule. How many blocks were blown this year by weak and winded OL with poor technique.

I guess im in the minority on this. I believe that good lines need to grow as a group. I dont mind bringing in one OLineman to fill a spot but bringing in 5 transfers just doesn't seem to be a winning formula to me.

Kind of amazing we get the four and five start guys and turn them into Zone blocking and pass protectors kind of sorta

and just how do you know that doofus? Of course the coaching has been non existent but we also watched players stand there and block nobody play after play, game after game. There was no fire, no Olinemen 'working' as they say. They just stood around doing nothing on running plays or getting knocked back on their a$$$ on passing plays. That is not just coaching but 'want to' and lack of talent to stop having that happen. How do we know if there is any talent at all on some of the Olinemen? We only know what we see on the field, and I saw very little 'talent', and for sure 'uncoached'. Nobody has called for Davis' firing earlier than I have this year. He has been stealing from LSU since the day he arrived. BK couldn't even tell that he was so unattached.

I agree, but I said READ 4 and 5 stars. Any coach that considered Chester a 4* Olinemen is just plain blind and lazy. There are others that are not much better than him and they were high stars also. It appears that our Oline coaches looked at recruiting services stars, which are in many case, just purchased, and recruited from that. Thus we have folks here that say we have plenty of talent because the recruiting services said they were 4 or 5* players. That is where the misconception lies. LSU does not have a bunch of talented Olinemen that are just uncoached. Some yes, we have hope some will develop with a real Oline coach, but some are just not talented enough to keep around. I'll let the new Oline coach determine who stay and goes, but if we line up the same group next year, we will have similar results, even with better coaching.
