The fragility of some of you is beyond crazy

Prescheduled or not it kinda feels like early commitments are just leverage plays now to drive up their price
I hope they mean something when it’s an LSU commit but it’s difficult to read much into it 9 months out.

This is why I don't follow recruiting at all anymore. Until they are suited up, they're not on the team.
Suited up** three years in & scoring TDs… with the transfer portal it makes it harder to support

It's even worse with open NIL, but commitments mean nothing these days. It's all about who drops the last biggest bag.

I think they blow the Same smoke back that BK gives

True, I still follow the team on social media and saw this and was just nosing around on TD. But, I don't get excited on commits anymore. I remember the mid 2000s and watching National Signing Day and caring about the stars.

Then don’t follow recruiting. If you claim to not follow recruiting but post on a recruiting post 25 minutes after it is posted then you clearly follow it. The best way to show us all you don’t follow it anymore is to disappear.

Apparently this was schedule long in advance but here comes Jim Bob cooter to tell the thread “he told ya so” even though everyone is cautiously optimistic
You commit to LSU publicly so Ole Miss knows you aint bluffing. Now when you go to them, you have given them enough time to think about if they want to pay the price to play. Also TBH, I doubt he flips this early if he actually ever flips. Right now LSU's number puts everybody on notice. I also think our first number isn't our final number. He's the #1 WR meaning there will be some back and forth.

players are free to go where they want to.....until they sign the paper, they have that right.
and once they sign, they can still transfer as they please....
College sports are tangled.

Like I said in the other post he has friends up there and they are pushing hard for his services.
At the end of the day if Lsu can offer or keep it close to what other schools offer then he will stay with his Lsu commitment 100%. Bc at the end of the day this has turned into a money grab and if you can set yourself up for life right out of HS then you woukd be ignorant if you didn't if you had money problems your whole life.
The kid will take more visits and enjoy the free shite as any kid should. Try and recruit the best to come play with you.

I believe he's got visits to Texas A&M and Michigan lined up as well. We all know commitments don't mean much anymore.

But we are WRU and the top dudes all know it. Ole Miss, not really close

I want to believe but Lucy has jerked that football back every time and I am not falling for that again... at least until NSD.
I hate to say this issue has been so bad that one of the first thoughts in my mind when I saw it was "how do you get your bidding value up? Commit right before you are going to 3 of the biggest spenders (OM, aTm, and UM) of late.
Truly, I hope it sticks but I will see you on NSD!!

This why CBK shouldn’t waste his resources on out of state WRs
Lsu only got Phillip Wright and Taron from instate last yr.
They have to re stock some elite guys. Love taron Francis but you need more.

Ole Myth is not one of the biggest spenders in recruiting. Not even close. And we’ve likely out-spent them in the portal so far this offseason, as well.
