It’s amazing what LSU or any organization can do when everyone is rowing together in the same direction and in sync!

But LSU couldn’t afford to not keep Frank Wilson.

If they wanted Frank they would have kept him.

Trust the process. Spot the ball.

Support sure - but don't act like all the other big time schools don't have money. In no way are we the richest or willing to spend the most. Step 1 was having the money to be competitive, but closing these kids really fell on Lane and staff

Alignment...finally.

This is true alignment. My Dad (RIP) summed it up with the old saying: "a chain is as strong as its weakest link." This applies to any system. We are witnessing the "well-oiled machine." Coach Lane Kiffin is the conductor at the controls of this Train. I respect the work ethic he has displayed to keep the Train on track exhibiting a maturity many doubted. This Train is on a mission and won't be denied for lack of effort.

You get more support when the supporters believe in you.

Verge is his name. I recall CLK saying in his introductory press conference that in his first interview with Verge that Verge was straight to the point and asked him what he wanted/needed from Lsu to be successful. CLK said he was struck by that straight up offer of support. It sure appears Verge, administration, and donors are delivering big time support. Kudos to all.

Charlie Weiss Jr was immensely important for getting Leavitt. And he was having to fly back and forth constantly to meet with him and wr recruits and coach a top 4 team in the playoff. We should love that man.

Of course the AD does what competent administration wants.Once LSU got rid of the cancers, that control freak SW and his sidekick Tate, common sense finally takes over.SW sabotaged Coach O and BK ,he wanted to run the Football team himself. As bad as BK was SW tried to do what he wanted not what BK wanted.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase "Great leaders lead from the front" or something similar. That's what's going on here, as opposed to the previous regime. Lane is willing to work very hard, so his team will, in turn, work a little bit harder. It's a true team effort.

Funny but for all the talk of alignment under BK, we finally only got it when we got rid of him

Lane has been a beast. I knew he was a great offensive mind, but didn't know he had a relentless work ethic. That doesn't get reported as much. But, absolutely hats off for all the LSU folks that made the offseason a major success.

Well said, this should be a headline and saying we all repeat to our children!

Thanks for pointing this out!

I think one thing that makes LSU so desirable is that they all have support until they post nekkid selfie sacks and fail miserably.

All Lane has to do is put out a quality football product and be adaptable and he'll be here a long time.
