Let him go. Get Elon qb
Awesome, great option to come in and sit a year. Problem is you still need a QB1

In this era you don’t let a top player go because they don’t choose you. You keep chasing them like they’re the hot girl and you make offers to them! The day of picking someone who “wants to play for your school” are over. Every player is going to play for a combo of who pays them the most, but still gives them a great chance at the league. You don’t let any top player go. You chase them until they sign with another team. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, but this isn’t the same era of “picking someone who who wants to play for you and if they don’t F ‘em!”
Correct. And this is why I and many others I speak with are VERY QUICKLY losing all interest in CFB.
Is it entertaining? Yes.
Do I have the same emotional connection to my team that made it special relative to pro sports in the past and kept me hooked? frick NO. And everything you just accurately stated is why.

Accoridng to some of our insiders, this is the word. Leavitt wanted to come to visit earlier supposedly but Mario told him to take his other visits and wait until after the fiesta bowl. I think once Simpson and sorsby went elsewhere, leavitt has been #1. If our medical clears, hes a cane this weekend or Monday.

You have no clue. He wants that Oregon spot and all that Nike money. If Moore leaves he will leave yall and visit there then his brother will play the bidding game and nobody will be able to match what Knight is willing to offer

if he chooses LSU, which I hope he doesn't, you will hate Sam.
That is a pretty weak play by LK to expose himself by going to Tenn and beg, if that is what happened. His brother probably added another million to the price tag for that display of desperation.

Hoping Leavitt loves Miami more than any other school.

Best thing in our favor is that Miami home games are terrible
That and Miami will always frick up enough games to be a borderline playoff team. This team snuck in by the slimmest of margins. As good a job as Christobal did building this team, that’s just what he is as a head coach.

I doubt his parents let him come to LSU. They were supposedly pissed at how the Williams news changed their visit to LSU. Get Clarke and Deuce Jones.

I agree but I’d at least try. Love this Clarke kid.

But you have to admit it’s mind boggling how Kiffin can’t get any of these mf QBs to commit
This is a really good point.
Kiffin is an offensive mind, kind of a QB whisperer..and we know LSU is up there in money offering.
So the question is why? Why can LSU not get a QB to commit by this point.
Few reasons possible?
1. He's already got a QB that we don't know about (Love it, but seems like a pipe-dream)
2.Iindividual situations. Sorsby went to TT because $2M more and we know what's undefeated? Leavit, shady brother?
3. Kiffin was counting on Chambliss? (OM then goes and wins game against GA and screws everything up)
4. Williams commits behind the scenes to LSU but the Nat. Media for some reason jumps on him and not the kid who went to Miami..
4. There's some serious negative juju that's being spewed about LSU behind the scenes and then pushed in the national media? (I think this is most likely, see the kid from UW who went to Miami)
The crazy part...this is only with regards to QB?
It doesn't make sense and just isn't logical.

You can say all you want. He's in Miami now. If he passes medical, he's ours. He can have all our money.

After all these visits to these schools where everyone is taking him out to eat, whoever signs him will need to put him on a diet.
Do you think he doesn’t eat meals when not visiting schools? It’s not like they’re strapping him into a feed bag while they negotiate with his brother.

The portal is still open for another week. We may end up with a young stud backup with a high ceiling. Kiffin will not end up without a premium QB. There will be some more QBs that hit the portal. LSU and Kiffin are a national brand. I guarantee QBs and agents are watching to see what happens. More than likely somebody’s phones been blowing up from various numbers.

Hoping Clark signs with Tigers today!
What is the latest on JuCo QB Guerra? Is he visiting? Why would a JC not jump at an LSU offer?

It’s time to move on from him. Apparently he does not want to be here.

Don’t be surprised when he goes to Oregon after Miami
Posted on 1/10/26 at 12:43 pm to Ed Osteen
Oregon is probably his dream destination, he is from there after all. He's not going to compete with Moore who it's probably staying so I doubt he ends up there.
