When is Jerzy Robinson going to announce her commitment? Thought she would announce by now.
Posted on 11/6/25 at 4:04 pm to LSUVT
Im hopeful she will announce before the early signing period 11/12-11/19! Anyone know where she is leaning? I heard its between SC and LSU.

No official date but been speculation it could drag out until spring of next year which is wild considering she only visited 3 schools and hasn’t planned any more visits

Maybe she's waiting to see who will offer her the most money like Chavez did.
Posted on 11/6/25 at 9:00 pm to Misterkleenmillenium
We already know Kim doesn't like to get in a bidding war, like what happened with Chavez.

Keep thinking Kim is going to retire, but if she can land Jerzey with who is coming back she is set for a nice run.

Wasn’t there way more to that? Like the commits couldn’t stand her and she had a list of demands along with the money?

I think she coaches as long as she still enjoys it

Chavez father got involved and wanted up to $1.5 million from LSU and others. Kim backed off. Only OK was willing to pay it. Yes, rumor she was very demanding, entitled, not team oriented, and LSU's new incoming recruits didn't want to play with her.

Well sure. Between the media witch hunt and NIL bullshite it’s not difficult to see she’s annoyed.

It wasn't just a money issue with Chavez (which was obviously a deal breaker asking for more money than LSU's class combined last season)
She was also a VERY ball dominant guard and playing with her means there will be much less shots to go around for others. OU made the most sense given their style of play. I never saw Chavez style of play going over well at LSU because Kims wants it to be more team based where there is much more balance in scoring/production across the board
Chavez is a great talent but it worked out for everyone. OU fits her style of play and LSU signed a terrific freshmen class which compliments each other quite well.

Yeah there were stories going round there was the weekend Knox Hines and Johnson were here together that they essentially told Kim we don’t want to play with Chavez. So if you take her we are all going somewhere else. And we quickly stopped recruiting her and then those three committed soon after.
I think some people told it that they hated her or something. But I think it was just they didn’t want to play with her cuz of her style. She is a ball hog.

I think it worked out great. Love all five of our freshmen class. Meghan Yarnevich gets overlooked because she wasn't a five star. She gives great effort and is very physical. First exhibition game, she had a lot of bruises from practice.

Posting this here since the posters here support our lady tigers. Currently watching Texas and s Carolina. Both teams are much bigger than us overall. But they are slow. We will beat them as long as we are dropping our shots from mid and three. Besides koval, we don't have the bodies on the inside to match up. Need to really make our transition shots. But this is also the best tiger team I've seen that can make threes at a good percentage.

Watched the game, and made me think about Samyah. It doesn’t look like she has played a minute so far for Virginia. Anyone know if she is injured again? Seems strange.

-Smith is still injured for Virginia
-I watched the Texas vs UT game as welll. Indeed they do run a lot of big players through their front courts. That is going to be a challenge. Also, their guard rotations are good as well. However, I do believe we have the best guard rotation in the SEC. Games against both teams are going to be TOUGH. I watched the two semifinal games on Wednesday as well and I predicted that UT would win that championship game over SC, mainly because of the improvement I saw in Rori Harmon (UT point guard). I think all three of our teams are championship contenders. It's going to be a battle in the SEC this season.

I have a feeling Jerzey is parading for the highest bidder at this point. Still supposedly between LSU and SC. No date set for her commitment. I'm wondering if she plans on waiting until the LSU vs South Carolina game in February. Be a good time to announce and the game is at LSU hopefully she will be rooting for LSU. Geaux Tigers!

what guard rotations for Texas are you talking about?
Texas only plays 7 players. Five are Forwards, including Booker. They played two guards the whole game. No 8-13 players had any minutes in their big games this year.
Lee and Harmon played the full 40 as did Booker, against USC. And they almost did the same in the UCLA game. They apparently have no discernable depth. And they two they bring off the bench play like 10 min or so.
and their height advantage???
TX starting FIVE
Harmon 5'6
Lee 6'0
Booker 6'1
Carlton 6'1
Oldacre 6'6
Playing time bench
Cunningham 6'4
Sidberry 6'1
LSU starting five
Richard 5'7
Johnson 5'10
Williams 6'0
Johnson 6'0
Koval 6'5
Playing time bench
Knox 6'2
Joyner 6'2
Fulwiley 5'10
Hines 5'10
Bourrage 5'11
Yarnovich 6'0
Gilbert 5'6
I don't think we stack up height wise as badly as people think. We are bigger than people realize. They have a slight height advantage. But we have a TON more depth than Texas.
