this is correct.

it’s a bit Moscona hot takish, typical, but we swung and missed on DW. And we likely passed on Leavitt in the process. It happens.

I have 0 lack of faith in Lane, Weiss Jr, and staff to find the right fit for us. Our offense will be prolific regardless of who the starting QB is.

Mascona is the same guy that said Kelly was a better coach than Kiffin.

That looks right. But A & B were 100 percent not even possible options

Everyone had Sorsby going to Texas Tech. I think Leavitt goes to Miami.

It's a miss at this point for whatever reason that a major school with the brand that we have hasn't signed a QB. Not to mention a head coach considered an offensive mind.Im not throwing blame at anyone but responding to "a miss"

At this point, I will be happy with almost anyone that has been mentioned except Sam Leavitt and his brother and entourage. I just think that will be a huge mistake for LK and LSU.

Lane took a D 2 QB last year and turned him into a 1st round draft pick. No one should be worried about this position.

Yep, it's a "miss" in the eyes of LSU fans because many of them think every QB was going to be lined up waiting, and that money wouldn't matter. LOL

A- Chambliss
B- Demond
C- Sorsby
D- Leavitt?

Plan A - was never Chambliss. Because he doesnt have eligibilty. Facts
Plan B - was never Demond, because he never re-entered until we had offered other QBs.
Plan C - was actually Plan A. We didnt want to pay his price. It happens
Plan D - hasnt even signed yet. So he could still be Plan B. Or no plan at all, if Kiff passed on his lisfranc

Yeah, I mean I don't even consider it a shot. The 4 just didn't work out for various reasons. Moscona just saying they are going after people as opposed to people acting like Lane is sitting on his hands

That's semantics. At one point or another, all 4 were targets/plans. Again, doesn't make it a big negative

That is not a bad thing considering this years preseason top 5 QB's were:

Texas - Arch Manning
Clemson - Cade Klubnik
LSU - Garrett Nussmeier
S.C. - Norris Sellers
Penn - Drew Allar

Then after that was
Alabama - Ty Simpson
Miami - Carson Beck
Florida - DJ Lagway
Ohio - Julian Sayin

Fricken Austin Simmons at Ole Miss had better heisman odds than Trinidad

This is how the 2025 turned out:

TOTAL QBR All conferences
USC - Jayden Maiava
Indiana - Fernando Mendoza
OSU - Julian Sayin
Vandi - Diego Pavia
Ole Miss - Trinidad Chambliss
Georgia - Gunner Stockton

Basically the point is, We need to stop going after the high dollar busts and do some real scouting. I strongly believe the next top 5 qb is out there, we just have to find him.

Yes but the odds of something like that happening on a consistent basis is very very low. Before Chambliss when is the last time you seen a QB from that level come into a power conference and excel the moment he stepped on the field?
