Lane even said some of these guys will stay, but this is how you negotiate pay now.

Are these guys revolting bc Davis or Frank were fired? Do they not like the new incoming OL coaches? Were they processed? Was their NIL money cut based on their horrid performance? Inquiring minds want to know why 9 OLs all decided to bolt.

Probably a combo of all that. They want to be paid like elite players even though their performance was awful.

A mediocre line would be a massive step up from last season. If they can't build a mediocre line from 4500 players, we've made a terrible mistake not only in hiring Lane Kiffin, but in firing Brian Kelly.

I agree! Out of the 9 so far, my GUESS is the breakdown is like this:
1) 3 withdraw from the portal (the ones that Kiffin thinks can improve and they are satisfied with the pay realizing they aren't getting more anywhere)
2) another 3 leave and land with low quality P4 teams or worse
3) 3 more will be lucky to get scholarships anywhere but with the expanded number of scholarships that works in their favor

I would hate to see the thread deleted because in a response that guy posted one of the best messages I have ever seen about Weston Davis being a step slow one more time (entering portal and playing RT).

With as quick as the coaches were to get him back In the boat, it makes me think all of the other guys were forced out.

Many of you were happy with all the OL leaving and it's obvious that LSU was doing some stupid shite allowing all of them to walk thinking they could get competent depth and starters at freaking OL out the portal when all these other schools are looking for starters and they only have to replace 1-2 OL.
Hopefully they start bringing more of these guys back.
