Yes he is. He submitted his notice to OM Thursday. The hold up has supposedly been OM’s unwillingness to submit the paperwork to the NCAA. In these days, that’s more of a technicality because OM wants their compensation for Ptincewill breaking his contract. If that is true, then logically, if LSU agrees to pay the buyout amount, then OM will likely submit the necessary documentation. Or so we assume…

it’s double what we were originall6 told. Don’t fully trust anything we are told until everything is finalized.

I’m thinking $600k is not quite accurate but also not incorrect. If the payment is $300k as originally stated, then we would pay them $300k. But, that $300k gets deducted from our revenue share amount for next year. That could be where the $600k number came from. But I can’t say for sure.

They’ve never had a choice. Only reason Demond Williams isn’t here was the size of his buyout.

Not some concern over litigation or the player’s right to transfer.

Only 600k?

That won't cover Pete's bar tab after all of this.

I’d rather get off the bus with Princewill over Seaton if I had to make a choice. That said $600k just to get him out of contract, damn.

Youre right.. Initial reports from Ole Miss media was $300k. I heard multiple sources quite the 550k figure over the past few days (AYS, Scone, Carter, etc)

Sure, that doesn't mean they weren't working to retain him somehow though.

Yea I had been hearing $300,000 for the longest and then Moscona said yesterday that he heard form multiple sources that the buyout was north of $500,000.

Its not the $550 million the troll poster from Ole Miss was posting it was over the weekend. $300-$600k is reasonable.

Well, when you think of Demonds Williams $4 million dollar buyout, the $600k buyout for a player of Princewells caliber sounds great lol

By posturing & threatening to imply what I said there somehow wasn’t the case.

They were trying to apply pressure, so it’s valuable to point out they hold no cards.

You’re not just paying $600k to buyout Princewill, you’re crippling their ability to beat you. Ole Miss has lost their leading tackler, best edge guy and 2 best receivers. On top of that, they’ve lost their entire coaching staff on the offensive side of the ball. This should guarantee a win against Ole Miss next year. Is that worth $2m? Absolutely
