The issue they don’t want to accept is that kids don’t want to play football at Ole Miss. Laney got them to Ole Miss in spite of itself.
It’s easier to get a kid to come to LSU than it is to get a kid to go to Ole Miss. That is why Lane Kiffin is here.

Present. I was 11 in 1958. Johnny Vaught was a good coach. We beat them 14-0. In 59 OM was arguably a better team, but Cannon’s punt return saved the day. The rematch in the Sugar Bowl was a 21-0 blowout ( sounds familiar).
Archie ruined one of best seasons, I think was 1969.

If they want to be mad about him, leaving them high and dry before the playoffs, part of me understands that... But for them to act like a coach leaving and wanting to take his best players with him is some sort of underhanded attempt to destroy their program, then they deserve all the agony they’re feeling right now.
