I’m just pointing out that your complaint is an ignorant fantasy. A complete impossibility. We tried to buy our way into a top 10 QB battle with USCe at the 11th hour and he still stayed with them. Effective HS recruiting still takes at least a year, usually more, even with money behind you.

it isn't everything. But it is far from pointless.
I agree with everything else you said though. People are sweating this because for the first time that I can remember in my lifetime, LSU has zero scholarship QB's on the roster.
We are usually already arguing why the 2nd string QB is far superior to QB1.

Apparently LSU didn’t want to pay the price TT offered or TT decided to increase to a level that LSU was not willing to pay.
Everyone knew this was a negotiation. LSU knew. TT knew. Obviously LSU had a secondary plan…probably multiple.

No one knew who Trinidad was before the season. Last season Lane had a returning QB and a RS QB, then brought in 4 Transfer QB’s. Why would you worry about the QB position?

I trust Kiffins evaluations but now we have zero QB’s so it’s gonna take a miracle to right this. Just as we overplayed for the coach is what it’s gonna take to make this manageable. It has to be about money. Have you ever stepped foot in Lubbock Texas or TT’s campus? I have and it’s not great
