Could it be that he is one of the best in CFB at what he does and may have left his school for LSU?

They were happy when Jayden left

You don’t need to be in the portal to test the waters. That’s like saying a junior reaching out to test his draft grade without making it public is a scum bag. I don’t like the injury situation but all you can do is have his medical records reviewed by specialists then make a decision based on their recommendation.

No to a damaged QB, we need a guy ready to go from day one.

You only know what other uninformed ranters have told you. Trust the coaching staff.

Depends what one calls springs. Its expected Leavett will get full clearance to play in Mar/Apr.

Matt Mauck had a lisfranc injury in 2002 and came back to lead us to the national championship the next year.

Missing spring of a first year offense install is a bad thing if you’re a qb.

I heard he has broken lisfranc and can't play spring ball.

"Need to let Kiffin decide"......early on several podcasts were saying Leavitt was Kiffin's first choice out of all the portal QB's. FWIW.

I was watching a YouTube video that was put on by CBS and they were asking recruiting experts why they had Sam Levitt as their top quarterback and they said it was very close with Sorsby but they said the biggest difference was character and competitive determination

They said that Sam Leavitt is one heck of a competitor

Take it for what it’s worth…
