I mean, BK had the number 1 portal class and a top 10 HS recruiting class last year.

I think this staff has more of a plan than the last, but none of this off-season stuff means anything if they can't put it all together on the field. That'll be the test.

It's a good start, though.

Got no issue with the BK bashing. He deserves it. Dude is a major hypocrite.

Talked about developing leadership and accountability on his team yet he displayed neither. Accountable to no one and provided absentee leadership.

BK worked banker hours and expected everyone else to grind it out fourteen hours a day. F*ck ya boy BK.

Free my boy BK.

Wherever he is, I am sure he is adding absolutely zero value to whatever situation he is in.

The person to blame is Woodward because any of us would've signed that contract because it had zero protections for LSU.

Eh, the game passes everyone by at some point. Succeeding in CFB today takes a different skillset than it did 10 years ago. Most coaches who were thriving in CFB back then has either retired or they've regressed significantly.

Shows you how inconsequential Kelly’s tenure at LSU was. Just months later and it’s already gone like a fart in the wind.

he's earned every bit of shame coming his way for years to come. He's an awful coach.

I look forward to learning what really occurred over the last tow years between BK and SW.
Clearly both share blame, but just what is fact and what is fiction between BK's golfing and social life and SW's meddling with coaching staff, i shard to discern. Some of the claims being made during the week of the firing etc, did not seem credible, but i have little insight. Would love to know ...

He should have been forced to pay back every penny we gave him. He single handedly destroyed LSU and it's culture during his tenure. Thank the good Lord that we have someone who can right the ship and bring us back to what we are supposed to be in Big Kiff

Can't some of you miserable fricks just enjoy success without shitting on former coaches and players. Kiffin is lapping a number of big name coaches not just exceeding Kelly. In fact Kelly had a highly rated portal class just not at Kiffin's level. Kiffin is the new lightning rod coming off a highly successful season topped by developing a Heisman contending QB from a D-3 program. He is also proof of the old adage that even bad publicity can be good if it keeps you in the spotlight.

He didn’t care when he was here so probably doesn’t now. Not sure if he was interested in any of the job openings that came out tho cycle, but looks like they probably weren’t interested in him

I thought I could fix BK...I was planning to offer my services as a life coach to him...then the A&M game happened and he was toast.

Has BK surfaced publicly in the last few months?

He got fired. Duh. But he has millions to wipe away the stain of such embarrassment.

Didn’t he have the number 1 portal class last year too?

On offense there was no true offensive identity or system, we just recruited guys that were highly ranked, threw some cash at them, and hoped it worked out. There seemed to be little to no scouting

We may have actually gotten Leavitt with BK and probably a big named WR, but he would have suffered a similar fate to Nuss. Stuck in a bad offense and being abused due to poor OL play.

even had BK survived 2025, there was no way he wasn't getting shite canned in 2026. Baker likely gets off the sinking ship and takes the Tulane job, huge exodus on D, and a putrid offense. It would have been a really bad season

Painful check to write but it had to be done, there was no possible way for him to right the ship even if he suddenly decided to give some effort.
