It's tough to get the players and families involved since so many are still playing either summer ball or Supers. PM had a good quote today. Something along the lines of "Saban/Patino wouldn't stand for having the NFL draft during week 14 of the season."

How long does it take for them to pick? What pick are they on??

I think a lot of this time is due to TV so they can break down the picks. You should hear them once they get past the first few rounds. It used to be done via conference call and it was like rapid fire, one after the other.

That was the good days. All you had to do was bring up their website and see who went where.

It is all for TV. But there is ZERO reasons why we should only be at the 22nd pick after 2 hours

They only have 4:30 but it seems longer, partly due to Selig struggling with speaking the English language.
