I think lsu is relying a bunch more on private donors for baseball than revshare. Its def better than anyone else from a private standpoint, but the revshare could be irritating jay. I see both sides of it. Only so much of the pie to go around. But if i had to pull from womens basketball to baseball, i would.

No program, even football, has produced at the level of baseball.
Football produces 100s of millions of dollars more than baseball or any other sport. Only production that matters to those making the decisions.

Gut it. 80%-90% rev to football 10%-20% to men’s BB. The sports that make money. Get money. When baseball makes money they can join in.
So you’re saying it’s ok to be a shitty program as long as you make money. What a f$&@ up way to look at it.

We just won 2 out of the last 3 national championships. Relax.
Yeah but that was under the former AD. I think Verge can get it done, but seeing Jay mention it in about 3 different setting in the past week means that it’s not a nothing burger.

Where are you morons coming up with this stuff?
Well unlike you who seems to speak without any background knowledge, I’ve seen jay voice concerns in 3 separate podcasts. Along with his season opening press conference. Do you only keep up with baseball when it’a game time?

Yes, of course, money makes the world go round. I don’t for a second think that baseball is getting anywhere close to the same treatment as football.
But, we can give baseball a lot more than a share of 3% or whatever it’s getting in rev share, etc.
LSU baseball is far and away the most consistently good product LSU has had for the past 30-40 years… we should invest what is needed to keep it there.

Jay’s issue isn’t much to do with rev share and roster funding. It’s with facility upgrades.
It’s time to start serious fundraising for a major renovation to the box. Too many poor architectural choices were made to the new box, most with cost cutting involved. The measly little 3 million that was spent doing the baseline seating and bullpens was nothing. We need to be dropping 50ish million on a serious renovation to the outfield (party deck) and adding chair backs and coverings down the baselines

What would you expect Jay to say?
I’d frankly expect him to say the same thing if he got 100% of revenue share.
