Texas at #7 is a crime.

especially with OU at #4, the irony, OU could give TT and OSU their 2nd loss giving UT the Big 12 S title.

Florida jumped USuC???

I think everyone knew that would occur at some point and most knew a one loss UF would go over a one loss SC. At this juncture and in the grand scheme of things, those few points do not matter. One of few things that SC needed to happen last night. Same can be said for UF.

Good God the polls are continually hilarious.

Did the coaches forget about a game that happened in Dallas just a couple weeks ago???

This makes me wonder about the Computers. Florida and TTU had been killed by the computers up to this week. With top 5 rankings in the coaches poll, and probably the harris as well, it will be interesting to see if the computers will start giving love to them.

Jeez, I would hate to see Penn State play Florida. The Gators would absolutely demolish them. Just what we don't need: another over-rated BigTen team in the NC.

I would put Texas at 4. They had a gauntlet of OU, Missouri, Ok State, and TT. And They had all of them won until 1 second left.

I think Texas' body of work is better than even Florida

Exactly right. Texas body of work > UF's body of work, at least at the current time.

UF has one really good win (UGA), an OK win (LSU) and a really bad loss (Ole Miss at home)

Texas had two really good wins (OU and OSU) an OK win (Mizzou) and a close loss on the road to the current #3 team in the nation. That's 3 wins over teams in the current top 13. UF hasn't beaten anyone in the top 13 and lost at home to an unranked team.

No matter how good UF has played since the Ole Miss loss, you can't NOT penalize them for losing it. Not that they can't rise above UT, OU and the rest once the season plays out, but they shouldn't be there yet.

I would have Texas as the top rated 1 loss team ahead of Florida.

I said that because Oklahoma has 1 first place vote.

Matt,

Get after your BCS calculations. I've got money to spend at ticketreserve.com trying to figure this thing out.

Do you happen to know who goes to the Big 12 Championship if Texas, Texas Tech and OU are in a three way tie for first in the South?

Can someone explain to me how UGA is behind tOSU and Missouri? That is a travesty. UGA has proven way more than both of those teams.

What has Georgia proven? They got blown out twice.

Texas Tech should be #2 in both IMO.

Probably, but they are currently not the most deserving. You lose to Ole Miss at home, you put your fate in other teams' hands.

I asked that in another thread. Will it be whoever is ranked higher in the BCS or some points given up/points scored bullshite?
