Did you ever hear why Hart sat on the sidelines riding the bike for most of the game? He told the sideline reporter he was fine, but the coaches held him out for much of the game. He tore things up in the 4th Q but it was too late.

Any idea what that was all about?

There was a hard hit on him in the 2nd quarter(you can see it in This Vid)
He was either soar or strained, probably at that point thought the game wasn't going to be close by the end with or without him.

Actually, an FCS team beating the #5 team in the country, at their place, deserves to be on the ring.

My laughter is mainly directed at Michigan for being memorialized this way. Not just the score, but the stadium!!!

I love it.

That was the biggest win in the history of their program. Give them a break.

Did you play on a team that beat Michigan or any other school that was at the time ranked fifth? If not then STFU.

I do not think many LSU fans and all D-1A fans give....App State and 1-AA football credit....

Football Recruiting is not perfect, not even close...Not every LSU player is better than every 1-AA player...Sorry guys....

Im sorry if I was a recruit I would rather play Southern Conference, Atlantic 10 football than at Arkansas State, N. Texas, Troy etc.... William and Mary, Villanova, Richmond, Furman, Delaware, James Madison, Towson etc. are great schools and play very good football...

most popular? yes. biggest? no.

easily the biggest would have to be the 2005 national championship. coming back after the 04 season to take it all. not to mention richie limping out on to the field just before the half practically causing a riot then bringing us from behind to win it.

that helped bring in our 06 recruiting class (armanti) which is the reason we are here right now.

it all started with 05'

that should be put on every NC ring.

Biggest in terms of the everyone besides app and 1AA fans - Yes
I agree that to us the 1st NC game was the biggest. While Richie Williams was huge to us, I would argue he didn't lead the comeback in that game, Jason Hunter and Marques Murrell did with the one amazing play.

Jesus.

I guess I have to give to y'all. You did take it to a pretty storied football program last year but there's one glaring difference between the Tigers and Wolverines....coaching. Lloyd Carr was afraid when he couldn't put it on you early so he tried to ride an injured Mike Hart's back. The Hat and The Wiz have a lot of weapons in the cache' and they're definitely not afraid to use them. Your DB's will be gassed by the second quarter trying to keep up with Lafell, Byrd, Tolliver etc. Your LB's will be dragging from trying to stay with our TE and RB/FB out of the backfield. Not to mention your OL will be hoping to get hurt by halftime so they don't have to face our DL in the second half. This is as deep of a DL as we've EVER had. Your guys are going to have to fight for their lives on every play. Good luck with that.

all valid points, but heres where I feel you may be wrong

While they be slightly out matched in size, having an inexperienced QB dishing out the ball won't help Lafell/Byrd/Tolliver. IMO They aren't any better than Mario Manningham, Adrian Arrington, and Greg Matthews.

Our Linebackers are actually our best players on Defense this year, if anyone will be dragging, it won't be them.

compared to last years....??? Michigan had guys like Shawn Crable(3rd rounder), Terrance Taylor(projected 1st-2nd), or tim jameson(projected 4th). and we certainly weren't "hoping to get hurt by half"
(projected came from NFLdraftscout)

Thats how we like it!

Way to jump into the end of a thread without any idea of what's going on, and take on someone that agrees with you completely, including a nice "STFU".

We're all impressed. What's your next conquest?

Not a bad looking ring. Maybe should have identified what division they won their championship but overall I understand their pride.

ill give you it is different, but when you think about our 2007 season what game would you remember the most? Beating Michigan in the biggest upset of the year or possibly all time, or the championship game that we rolled Delaware 49-21.

Besides the bowl games may have a bigger meaning to you guys since you only play one for your championship, we play 4 playoff elimination games at the end of our last 3 seasons so personally to me the Delaware game means no more than say the 1st playoff game against JMU game last year that we barely won by forcing a fumble at the last second.

wait a damn minute! so, rolling = 27 points, but shutting you guys out and beating you by 24 isn't...........hypocracy!

See Ole Miss: We expected a blowout, but in the fourth when we needed the come from behind in 06, we didn't sit on our hands and fret, we yelled like it was Auburn or Florida we were playing.

To the point that Ole Miss had to burn 3 timeouts on consecuative plays on a crucial end game drive just because they were so disorganized from noise.

I was there and oh so true.

I wonder when you don't have the big win this year, will you still be talking junk prior to your next, "we're not scared of anyone" game?

I think it's great you're behind your team and you're willing to sacrifice them for the hope of stealing one every now and then but that's all it is. Hoping to steal one. If you believe different you are truly kidding yourself.
