I am thinking Nuss is locked in early in this one. His first half performance was not very good. Also hopefully after watching some ole miss film I hope he starts using those legs to get first downs instead of throwing to no one or triple coverage. Defensely I trust this coaching staff to keep coaching them up. I think it will be close but pull away in the fourth quarter.

We sure did give them a lot of good film. I'm sure ole piss knew the game play was to apply pressure but I don't think anyone expected us to be as effective as we were getting into the backfield. We probably also exposed some weaknesses in our offense. Glad we have a tough game that we should win that we can improve on before anm and alabama.

No it isn’t.
When a team comes off a very emotional game, they're probably going to be flat the following week.
And when that next game is against a good team, on the road, it makes it even more dangerous.
Arky is absolutely a trap game.

LSU was a top 5 team in the nation in terms of sack % coming into the game. That LSU was able to get pressure was "on brand' because that's really been the only thing at which the defense has been great. The surprising thing was that they were able to tackle well and the secondary held up better than they have all season. There were very few (if any) blown coverages.
Offensively, LSU was largely the same. Pass protection was excellent. The running game approach is still abysmal. The only thing Ole Miss did really well was cover the flanks and force LSU to attack the middle. Nussmeier did, but he was looking for the big strikes over the middle rather than taking some shorter throws that were there. High risk, high reward passes. That's a big reason he was able to throw for 337 despite completing less than 50% of his passes.

Annnnnnnd here we go with the “we better be ready cuz they gone be ready!” bullshite.
Can you just let the week unfold and see what happens next Saturday? I think there are no trap games left. None.

This is not a trap game. The hogs lost to OK St in 2 OT, had aggie beat and blew it down the stretch and they beat Tenn. They are 4-2 and a couple plays from 6-0. This is a good team and will take LSU's best to win.

yep - this is always a trap game especially when played in Arkansas. They play us tough every year and they are scrappy. It always seems to be cold, or rainy, or windy. They're also coming off a big win and bye while we just had a grueling emotional win. We should win this game, but we cannot start out slow again

We need? I'm not suiting up. Are you?

why?
team knows what’s at stake and it’s against a tough opponent at their house
and arky still has a lot to play for as well

How is their QB looking? He was gimpy going into the bye week. Hopefully we play them like we did against Ole Miss and limit the big plays.
Their defense is pretty good, we have to get some sort of running game going

Guarantee you that BK and Crew are not overlooking the Hogs. They are a good team and playing them in their house...

No such thing these days. Everyone is tough regardless of circumstances

Research the description of “trap game” then get back with me. They just beat #4. Trap game lol, how about a SEC game. If you think Arky sucks and is a “trap game,” then you need to watch more football. Arky doesn’t suck.

If there is one thing we have learned in the post-NIL world, it is that there is no longer such a thing as a "trap game." Army is undefeated and Vandy looks like they may actually be pretty good.
Anybody can beat anybody on any Saturday.
