Bad news....
the money would come from boosters, and TAF, this program will not tolorate losing.
True. And for what it's worth, the grid iron club is not exactly some "power behind the throne" machine that makes the decisions for our program. That is the TAF. Gridiron club is more of a bunch of guys who get hard ons by eating lunch on Fridays with who ever are current coach is.

i say to hell with and just pay his buyout. if we keep him here, we are losing that $$$$$$$$ anyway by playing in lower bowl games.

Without a doubt and I'm certainly not advocating this but no loving spouse loves to hear their partner constantly being run down and children can be very sensitive to what is said about their Dad. There is no way in hell , the wife of Les Miles nor the children can be insulated to what is going to be said this week. Again, please dont misunderstand me, I'm not advocating this type of behaviour , I'm just saying that the pot in Baton Rouge and South Louisiana, just became a lot hotter after last night.

okay.. The strategy is for every LSU Global Fan to boo Miles and give him grief and just maybe he will quit!
Let’s start a Quit MILES Website and sign a petition for him to step down!

I just spoke with gridiron club member
Guess what.....I just spoke to a major donor and he said LSU will not get another dime from him until Miles is gone.

I just spoke with gridiron club member and he said that if Miles was to lose to Arkansas and the bowl game he would not be fired. He said LSU cannot afford to pay Miles and a new top notch coach.
That is why the continuing roll over madness is insane.

He's already a multimillionaire - why stick around here and subject yourself and your family to the verbal abuse he will be taking in the media/talk radio?
Secondly, where the heck would he run from this? You think it'll go away if he leaves? THIS will be talked about second to the Halloween night run.

It will cost us much more to keep this clown, but we are stuck......there is no way he isn't the LSU coach next year

"Crazy expectations"?
To expect someone who is paid $4,000,000/year to be able to manage a game on par with a middle-school FB coach is a crazy expectation?

Yes, but Les Miles can be fired "with cause" and we owe nothing ... or a much smaller negotiable amount.
Things are in the wind.
People have said that if you fire a guy 2 years removed from a National championship after winning 9 games you'll have no shot of landing a top notch coach.
What do you think would happen if LSU manufactures something so it doesn't have to pay a buyout?
LSU has no leverage here. The cheapest move is to invest in the program with top notch assistants. The only positive thing about the situation is that you don't have to worry about stepping on Miles' toes. You can basically walk in to Miles' office and say which assistants need to go.

Yup. its a relatively inexpensive way for people to support the football team and have some fun while making sure the money raised goes to team and not the General's pocket.

I think we are going to find out what kind of AD Joe Aleva is pretty freakin' quick.

yep...
It's a combination of things going on that we are all feeling....one is..the QB situation, 2nd,the DC thing last year, 3rd the offense this year, 4th, combined with the fact that Nick Saban is 15-0 in the SEC while we are 7-8 in the same time period...and Bama having what 3 top recruiting classes in a row?
So the EX girlfriend keeps getting more and more beautiful while our faithful coach is making bone head moves and quotes...we are out of make up...it' just not a pretty situation..
I feel kind of bad for Miles,He is a good man, but this is a big boy business.. LSU's offense is the problem and really the reason we lose the game, not the last minute...
In summary, LSU fans realize we are in trouble, but what can be done about it?
I wonder what the players are thinking and saying?

My dad is a Gridiron member and could sleepwalk and say that. Gridiron members pay 300 bucks a year and they're in. They're not higher-ups or tied to the university.
