Right now there’s 0% chance of rain in College Station from 5 AM tomorrow all the way through Sunday. You think we’d “wait until the last minute” with that forecast?

As it turns out, it rains a lot more in Baton Rouge. Making it harder to plan for a double header.

If LSU postponed one of our home games at 5-6PM Friday for a Saturday DH, we’d have fans bitching nonstop about how there’s no way we are going to get through all 3 games now, and how they should have moved it earlier/later on Friday instead.

Snagged some cheap Friday tickets after the delay because I knew they’d make the Friday game tickets valid for game 2 tomorrow. Prices have jumped big time since

The rain is moving out. I guess the field doesn't drain well or they are scared.

Maybe, or maybe they decided it would be better to play 2 games on a Saturday with 0% chance of rain than play until 11 PM or midnight on a wet field.

I realize it’s hard for us Louisiana folks to imagine living in a place where you actually get 2 consecutive days with 0% chance of rain. We never have that luxury.

ETA: That being said, it would not surprise me if their field’s drainage is worse than somewhere like the Box simply because they don’t deal with nearly as much rain (and also because Aggy).

Good for me! Stick at some school art things right now, 7v7 football tournament moved from tomorrow to Sunday for weather, so I can focus on a Saturday sweep.
