I wonder how many ABs were vs LHP. Williams had a nice buffet of LH hitters to throw against yesterday.

I haven't looked into too much in the SEC other than the bigger names like Georgia, Tenn, Ark, Miss St etc. What bottom dwellers are there this year? I'd have to imagine that Mizzou couldn't have made that much of a jump this year.
ETA that I'd expect SC to have a similar output this season after losing their ace to TJ

Yep. I agree although I don't follow those teams or that conference very much. The thing I see is he has performed well against our intrasquad hitters and I think that bodes well.
I know he gave up 2 of our 6 hits to Southeastern in the fall exhibition but didn't allow a run in that game. He also didn't allow a run giving up 2 hits in 3 IP to Samford in Biloxi. His ability to minimize damage has been a strong point IMO.

Mizzou did increase their nil spend and they get some injured pitchers back. But that might only mean the go from 3 wins to like 7.
But I think South Carolina will challenge them at the bottom.
Literally every other team in the league could make a regional.

Aggy lost their Saturday or Sunday SP to TJ as well. Who knows how they rebound with Earley as the coach.

They also lost their hitting coach like a week ago. And they turned over S&C coaches. The one they just replaced was the guy that came here for a year and then went back. I'm not ready to say that replacing him is a sign of turmoil, I don't think he was worth a shite here. They might be improving in that regard.
