The team has been inconsistent this year for sure. They have shown however, that when they’re clicking, they can beat anyone. They have also shown that they can get going despite a considerable amount of injuries across the board. This team could absolutely go on a tear through regionals, super regionals, and Omaha especially with key contributors getting healthy.

I appreciate you finding this stat for me. It appears LSU is right about average in this category this year. While I would prefer they be better than average, I will withdraw this criticism.

In my analogy of CLM 2.0, I'm again of the opinion that CPM has seen his better days/years at LSU and it is time that consideration be made for a possible change if the current statistical data does not improve this year and/or next.

Mississippi State last year is a good example of what can happen when things are clicking and everything is falling your way. On paper they had no business being in the finals in Omaha.
eta: I was wrong. But they still made it to the final 4 with a 31-24 regular season record.

Sorry but respectfully disagree. In 2018 in the SEC, Miss. St. was:
Batting avg.-8th
Runs scored-5th
Hits-2nd
RBI's-5th
Doubles-1st
Triples-3rd
Their pitching was definitely a weak link last year but they finished 10th in the SEC with a 4.42 ERA with the SEC best being TAMU with a 3.38.

don't think LSU is a bad team but because of inconsistencies I'm not convinced we can put together a string of games good enough to outlast teams like MSU, UGA, Vandy in SEC tourney, let alone NCAA tourney.
