Well we could finish dead last in offense, so there is still room to fall. I really wish we made a change at OC. and now all i worry about is Miles getting canned and us losing Wilson, I hope the new coach keeps Frank. We will be set back a great deal if Frank gets let go, if Mies does, Also can Miles save his arse if GC gets fired after the season? Not sure. Over all I feel there will be little improvement and frustration will again creep into our hearts.

We will be better offensively, we can't be any worse. But the schedule is tougher, we'll play alot of close games. Hoping 8-4 is the worst we'll do. Need to open with a W against UNC, can't wait to be in Atlanta 9/4.

I think LSU football will improve, yes!

I watched the LSU/Alabama game the other day on the SEc digital network and LSU played just as well as Alabama in that game. LSU had a few key players come out of the game for only 3 or 4 plays and it cost them when they were out. The Julio TD occured when Peterson was out.

Also, there was a bad call, even if most BAMA fans don't want to admit it, the pass was intercepted and LSU got screwed on that call.

I think LSU has a good football team and just as much talent as any team in the country.

As for the NC game to open the year. That is going to be a tough game and NC's defense is one of the best in the coutry. I would like to see LSU win this game because I think a loss here could set the tone for the season as a negative one.

Just my opinion.

I think Guttata nails it in his post. Young, inexperienced OL and DL. DL faster, but light. Young, inexperienced LB's. Our D will be worse on the run, as good or better in pass coverage. I don't think our OL allows us to establish a running game which we desperately need.

4 regular season losses for sure.

that's stupid.

first of all, unc's offense will do absolutely nothing against our back seven. and the 300 plus yards running scares you?

the only problem you have is, oh the qb sucks. that's silly. you forget jj put together a solid season. if he mixes the same season with that kind of running game, we'll win ten.

Guys, didn't we have a couple of starting Dline guys sitting out the spring game? If so, we were not running the ball against our best defense

I sure as hell hope so. Plenty of new starters and second year in a Chavis system should be a better defense overall. Defensive line can't get much worse and neither can the offense.

I think from a time management stand point, LSU will do fine. Special teams will be better. The defense will be good against the pass and not very good against the run. The offense will suffer bigtime. New oline and no qb. Teams will stack the box and take away the run. JJ/JL will get exposed against this yr for not being very good qbs.

A pretty good summary of what I see. Ford and Ridley will find it as challenging to run against 9 in the box as CS and KW did last year.

Reasons for pessimism...still a huge question mark at qb, very little returning production at WR outside of Toliver, and being able to consistently stop the run with being undersized along Dline and weaker at Lber.

I think the passing game will be much improved - at least we won't have Lafell costing us games with his drops in key situations.
