It's the same line except we lost Farrell, who was great, and added Wingo. Yes, the young guys are older, so hopefully that helps, but the roster is very much the same

Tiny little detail there. What difference can a year make?

Joe Burrow almost doubled his yardage from 2018 to 2019. And his QBR went from 132 to 202! Chase had 313 yards receiving in 2018; in 2019 it was 1785!

What difference does a year make? A Heisman and Bilienikoff of a difference.

BTW, in 2018 LSU’s offensive line was rather mediocre. In 2019 they won the award for best in the nation, and ended up putting at least four starters in the NFL.

When is the last time our defensive line was this stacked?

2012 was the last time we had this many difference makers on one DL.

This. They were flat-out dominant from the bye week on. Just look at the results.

Coaching matters my man.

That Defense, in that game, was being coached by a first time ever DC coaching his first game in that role.

The entire team was dead arse tired going into that game. The hurricane causing the team to relocate to Houston, etc. That’s a fact no matter how many of our fans disregard it. The team was also very poorly coached going into the season. O ran them too hard going into that game and they had camp legs.

And Arkansas. And A&M. And all of those teams could run the football pretty well. People forget quickly around here.

And yet this same line dominated Bama offensive line late in the year.
