Agreed! 99% of the fan base would trade a coach for a National Championship, period. It is a lifes goal to coach in the NFL for Brady, congrats and good luck. You'll always be regarded as a Tiger and will always have a home here !! Thank you

I would hate recruiting too.

Being a SALESMAN makes you feel like a low life.

Didn’t we have them last year?

I’m not worried about the loss of Brady. Joe made Joe and Joe made Joe. Losing Burrow is bigger than Brady.

E now understands the spread and we can get a replacement for Brady.

Just be prepared when our production is down next year to hear how much we miss Brady when in reality there is only one way for our offensive production to go.

Completely understand. Recruiting is not for everyone.

We will get to see that at Carolina next year.

As long as Brady doesn’t come to Tuscaloosa, or coaches the Falcons to the Super Bowl, he’ll always be treated like royalty.

id rather shovel shite than deal with a teenager and an out of control ego. I don’t see how the top guys do it constantly

This. Kirby Smart said after the SEC title game he knew what plays we were running, they just couldn’t stop it because of the execution. This isn’t some revolutionary thing that only Joe Brady can run. Playbook is still here. The offense isn’t going to change, though because of how great Burrow was, I doubt we’ll ever see that type of production again.

Yup, been film on the saints for 10-12 years now.... execution and talent were all important this year... just perfect storm

Munoz was the guy Caleb Williams was around the most when he visited so I’d say they are in good shape there

Do people really think Williams was going to commit to LSU because of Brady? He wasn’t even going to be his position coach. Ensminger is his primary recruiter and there was always a huge chance Brady wasn’t going to be at LSU by the time Williams got on campus for the 2021 season and definitely was going to be gone at some point during his time at LSU.

Having a solid group of players everywhere but QB, they could even bundle a bunch of their picks in this draft to swap positions with the Bengals and get the first pick in the draft and use it to take Burrow. That is feasible and would be a smart move for both teams. Bengals have a lot of needs, they could take one of the other QB’s to be Dalton’s successor, and use the extra picks to fill the many holes they have.

thought about this yesterday and discussed witha buddy.... we asked each other what would you give up for Burrow?

he Said Cam, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 1st rd next year.. for top pick from Browns...

if youre the browns do you take that?

I don't blame Brady for not wanting to deal with teenagers. I have 2 of them and I don't like dealing with them either.

Agree, except Bengals have the first pick, and they have more personnel needs than the Browns, which makes even more sense for them to consider this type of a deal, plus they would still have a first round pick just six spots lower. The Panthers may have had some discussions with the Bengals who must have expressed some interest in this type of deal for their pick. Brady had feelers from a couple of other teams but obviously didn’t consider them a good opportunity. With the Panthers skill people on offense, a decent OL and defense, and with a chance to have Burrow at the helm of that, he would be a fool to pass up that opportunity. We’ve all just witnessed that Burrow is a generational talent like Drew Brees or Tom Brady.

Joe Brady did a lot for the offense, but I feel like at least 90% of the success has to be given to Joe Burrow. We obviously wound not have had the same production with anyone else!

Brady was in only 2 players according to 247 listing of recruiters on LSU signees/commits. Gilbert and Moore. Aranda was in on 8....Webb, Simpah, Toles, Ojulari, White, Guillory, Gaye, and Jackson

Listen, I’m just as sad as everyone else that Joe Brady left to return to the NFL. But at the end of the day the guy did not like recruiting

Then don’t make him recruit! O is the best in the business and we have plenty of other assistants.

It would be worth it to keep him and let him not recruit.

He's got Cam Newton, so you'll still get to see that.

Certainly can’t blame him. Lord it’s aggravating following it can you imagine having to actually play the games of some of the recruits?

Then he will struggle as a head coach. Recruiting is the lifeblood of a college football program. As Jimmy Johnson told Orgeron when he asked "Ed, do you want to be a great coach?" ... "get great players".

You can be a masterful X and O guy but if you can't recruit or close the deal on recruits you'll fail.
