They have reporters watching the portal all the time, especially this time of year. If he was breaking that he would have sent out a tweet or someone else would break it

Yeah, it wasn't whatever was behind his decision to quit during the middle of the year that's going to keep him from coming back...it was the response of the fans to that quitting that did it.

seriously why would any fan really care about a guy who quit with less than 2 weeks left? Is that really the type of player we want?

It wasn't just the rant. Social media was all over it, especially after Orgeron saying his body hurt or whatever it was.

Does he think those places want a TE that doesn’t block? I think the guy can be great but if he is strictly a receiver he does not help the LSU football team. They have plenty of receivers. We need a guy that can help with the run game and chipping DE’s then be a mismatch to LB’s or safeties.

You don’t quit the team to “try and figure it out”.
The fan base never said a negative word about him until after he quit the team.
