burrow gonna be a good one. few take aways.
oline for cincy terrible and that ross kid out of clemson not looking so good but he is a rookie. Remember burrow had no preseason or anything. once him and aj green on the same page then i believe they will be really good together.

No he didn’t. The Bengals got exactly what they deserved. He had a ton of check downs and missed some passes. No preseason and lack of practice with Green shows. This will take time.
Jesus, some of you think he could just snap his finger and change that shitty organization?
I mean, he had a solid game for his first. Nothing to be ashamed of. He will learn.

Can’t depend on an Aggy for shite

That was just sad. No other word describes it.
Green is experienced enough to not do such a blatant push off when he extends the arm. Just shove and shield the DB off with your body by coming back towards pylon (he had room).
And that fricking kicker. I wouldn't be surprised if he was faking it because he's about to get shanked. Then cut [from the team].
I do like the guy who was screaming at him "how do you miss that fricking ball" over and over. frick your calf, you get ice if you make the kick. Not when you miss. Only good thing in in very piss poor and sad as hell ending.
ETA: Burrow should have a pic of Bullock bending over grabbing his calf printed on a cup and have it placed in his locker... before he's told to clean it out.

The Green PI was legit. Missed FG sucks for Burrow. Burrow is gonna be solid but if you watched he wasn’t great today.
That said the job of the QB is to get you in a position for the W. He did that.
Good job. For a first time start with no preseason? Great job with room for improvement.

I really wish they had went for one more shot at the endzone.
Burrow was on fire and poised to win that.
Playing not to lose cost them the game.

quote:Yep, agree. There was time. They were scared to try with a rookie who was getting sacked/pressured most of the game.

Sure, but you can’t deny that he made some rookie mistakes that likely left points on the field.
First game jitters, this team will end up being fun to watch. I have a feeling!

Teams accustomed to losing will find away to screw it up. Missing a 31 yard field goal in the NFL, when you are trying to create a winning culture, should get you fired. A 41 yard is expected. 51, maybe 50/50. But, a 31 is an extra point.

Need to get rid of losing attitude, hard to do. You start looking for something to go wrong

Sure Jeaux wasn’t perfect but he got them in position to win the game at the end. Hated the PI call, and then stupid Aggie kicker

If Bengals had an Oline, they might be dangerous.
Defense played decent and Burrow was steady, but unimpressive until the last drive.

It was the right call.

They need to let him play no-huddle shotgun. He dies his best work there.

Someone wanna tell Kyle Rudolph?
In a vacuum it’s the right call but receivers almost always get the benefit of the doubt while defenders usually don’t

That was obviously a push off-- not sure what was questionable about it... other than maybe the fact that it doesn't actually get called a lot of times. Joe definitely deserved the win after leading that final drive though.

Hmmmm.....if he hadn’t thrown that interception.....

If Joe Mixon doesn't fumble....
