re: Chambliss is a back end first round pick

Neither did Josh Allen and he played against way worse competition.
People who compare players or situations to historical outliers do not want to have logical conversations about things.
The Josh Allen logic was applied to Anthony Richardson, for example, and we see how they ended. And there is a slew of other QBs historically that could never shake it.
Chambliss is not even close to being that bad. But he lacks a bit of verticality and is just more of a short to intermediate type passer. His size works against him as well.

It was actually 4. Miami’s DBs and WRs couldn’t catch a cold if they tried.

You can say that but it doesn't make you not retarded.
He's good and I think he could go top 10 and maybe ahead of Dante Moore but if you think he's going above a younger, bigger, bettter armed 6'5" 225lb Mendoza then you're losing me.
Bring on the downvotes!
Chambliss is the perfect modern playmaking QB.
Mendoza is great too, and definitely could go #1. But I'm gonna stick with my call. Chambliss goes #1.

Chambliss:
NFL Mock Draft Database - 4th round
NFL Draft buzz - sixth round (14th QB)
ESPN - potential day 3 pick
Kiper - 6th best QB
Pro Football Focus - 5th round
Bleacher Report 3rd round
Tankathon - 4th round
Draft Network - 29th overall

I truly belive Nuss could go high second if QB needy team passes on the position in the first. A la Tyler Shough. Im not saying this is correct but it worked for New Orleans.

Yep. They make those and this game likely isn’t close.

A winner?
Not too sure about that. I just saw him lose.
got more fight and poise in his little toe than Nuss

Sorsby is making more than Jaxon Dart right now.
That's a little misleading. Giants owe Dart $9 million guaranteed and the full contract value is $17 million.

Do some of yall really believe the shite yall say?
Chambliss threw 4 ints last night. Lagway threw 5 against LSU
The major difference being LSU can hold on to the ball
Posted on 1/9/26 at 12:52 pm to RobbBobb
He didn’t throw 4 INTs. In fact, he didn’t throw any.

Well, dont just take my word for it

ESPN: On Thursday night in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Miami watched multiple leads disappear, dropped four interceptions

yahoo! sports: No way it happened again right? Well...
If Miami hadn’t dropped 4 picks, including three gimmes, it might have been a different game.
quote:
NCAA.com: Four dropped interceptions. If you can't believe your eyes, I can't either. The Miami defense continues to let the ball slip through its hands.
quote:
wildcardnet: Trinidad Chambliss is so lucky. He should’ve had four interceptions
quote:
Wow! Chambliss finished 23-for-37 for 277 yards one touchdown. Miami dropped four would-be interceptions.

Hurricanes Hot Potato
Not one, Not two, but three dropped interceptions for Miami today. The Hurricanes dropped an interception in the second quarter and it led to an Ole Miss field goal. Then in the third quarter, the Hurricanes dropped two interceptions on the same drive, with the third one looking like they were playing keep away.

You posted all that, just to say he didn’t throw any interceptions.
Posted on 1/9/26 at 2:54 pm to doya2
I would take him , it wasn’t his fault they lost .

Bullseye. Ppl do this all the time
Posted on 1/9/26 at 3:03 pm to CoatesHall
That’s not the point. The reason you go if you’re expecting to get drafted in the first isn’t because the money. It’s because if you f around in college and you don’t do shite you ultimately take a risk of not getting drafted at all. Drafted players are guaranteed money and 4 years.

I’m not getting the hype of this kid. Good season and good story but he’s less talented than Stetson Bennett. He won’t be good in the NFL. Weak arm, scrambles too often, and can’t really read a defense
Posted on 1/9/26 at 3:21 pm to doya2
You can't say there's a drop-off in his play and Mendoza's play here at the end of the season. He's going to be a top-10 pick.

McCarthy and Richardson were first round picks. He will definitely be drafted because he's better
