Last I checked Troy had a damn good football program!!

I guess everyone has a different definition and it's open to interpretation. I feel what O is doing of late appears to have the program "headed in the right direction". I translate "crushing it" as actual results on the field and competing for championships (IE- beating Bama).
This is a sensible view, which is apparently not shared by many here.

Yeah I've akready stated that "crushing" seems rather hyperbolic
That's a big word for the intellect of some people on here. You may want include dictionary link to definition next time to help those folks out.

“5-3 in the SEC”
Even becomes unacceptable for a coach who won the west, won the SEC, played in 2 NCGs winning one after a while, but three years after a coaching change it’s pretty disappointing and hardly worthy of “crushing it”. imo

In Les' coaching career at LSU ('05 to '16) he had a grand total of six Olinemen drafted. That's a twelve year span. Maybe one or two tops was a legit OT. Recruiting OTs was his MAJOR fail point at LSU.
That record setting "O" of '16 became record setting once EdO and steve e took over.
Ninswanger., Clapp, Pocic, Livings, Gordon, Turner, Alexander, Barksdale, Fergueson, Collins, Hawkins, Whitworth, Black would've been another.

Also recall scheme being overrated and lack of talent was the problem.

29-0 against Bama in Tiger Stadium ain’t crushing it.

Ahh. 9-4 to 10-2 is wildly exceeding
Got it.

Last time I checked, field goal teams can’t teleport into position and instantly hike the ball with :01 sec on the clock.

No excuses next year except when we get trounced by Bama again. Then we'll need excuses.

When was the last time we had a 10 win regular season?

He is GONE. fricking get over it you babies. If he is such a great coach go be a Kansas fan dude because he will not be LSU's coach. Move on you child.

Why do you people keep repeating this. We were losing to Arkansas on a regular basis and trending down. As much as you people hate to admit it, Les did not leave the program in great shape. We had a lot of holes to fill. See quarterback and linemen. The program is absolutely trending up. You have to be in complete denial not to see it.

Well Alabama was also shitty when Les was going on that 11-2 stretch and Miles won a natty with 2 losses
He's gone, time for you to stop mourning.

Lolol. Arkansas was good. Then they ducked and fired their coach and suck even worse in the Orgeron era.
We were gifted overrated weak teams this year.
