I'm certainly all for Woodward as AD. And I've certainly seen LSU and Louisiana do some crazy things. But if they offered the the presidency and chancellorship of a major Tier 1 research university to a person who really only has a background in athletic administration, then God help us all.
The faculty only did a letter of no support when King was hired. They will revolt if Woodward is made president.

The BOS, Williams et al, are hiring Scott Alexander. Dr Alexander and Joe Alleva will be effectively out of the loop for LSU Athletics. Alleva will be gone for good as his contract expires in 2020. Dr Alexander is on his best behavior now. HIs position is shakey with the BOS.
