Obviously he doesn’t play to lose but in his mind 2/3 is the standard he set.
Saying that I do feel he rotates as he sees fit for the season not necessarily for the game itself.

He is Big Picture.
You are small Picture

He doesn’t like sweeps. He doesn’t want the team getting overconfident.

I know we dropped the first Arkansas game but the A&M series and now the Tennessee series just feel like he does not play for the sweep. Thoughts?

Yes. Game 2 with the lead he was going to use every pitcher he needed to win it.

Despite what a lot want to admit, our itching falls off pretty quickly after top 6 or 7.

I don’t think he will save one of our best relievers for Sunday if that reliever is needed to secure a win on Saturday.

Certainly not.
The most troubling is that we don't seem to have a reliable third starter.
It's going to be difficult to win it all with only two dependable starters.

I know for a fact that he didn't want to win the game so as not to upstage women's basketball. ??

Wait until you see what happens in the SEC (irrelevant) tournament.

6-3 through through the opponents tx so far is very good. Slow and steady wins the race in ncaa baseball. We will lose a series at some point this year. We will also get a sweep or two. The first four series may be the toughest of the season.

try his options out to see who he can depend on during post season.

Curious, do you believe he found one?
