I have no unhappiness about it. It is what it is, our only hope is depth. They will push is around the entire first half, and their QB will look like Cam part 2.

Our D did adjust to the read option well last week.

What have you seen of this team that makes you think:

A) we can score more than 17 points against a SEC team not named Kentucky

b) stop a powerful front line with a good read option QB?

My assessment is neither. Based upon our first two games. Out OL will get manhandled, our D will get tired.

It will be a hard fought game but i see LSU winning somewhere between 10-14. I might have to readjust depending on the weather Saturday night.

We win big. I say 38-20 with a Moo State TD coming late against the scrubs. BH leads us to a TD on our opening possession (yes he starts) but then struggles. After consecutive 3 and outs he is subbed midway through the 2nd quarter following a pick in our defensive third that leads to their only TD against our 1st unit. DE finishes the half with a late TD to retake the lead 14-10 and the rest is history.

If only 1 fricking game LSU didn't start off so damn slow. Miles mentioned this in his presser today. If you win the toss, receive. Don't defer. It's so important for LSU to get off to a fast start (preferably offensively) and get the crowd into the game. If the Tigers can get points early and the crowd gets hyped, I like the chances of getting a W.

How do you start fast when your supposed leader/QB hasn't got it in him...what Etling brought to the team was positive energy...something that seems to bother CLM...strange, really strange!!!!!!

MSU QB may be big, but he's no Dak Prescott.

If LSU can run the ball and sustain long drives, they'll be all right. The key is keeping their offense off the field.

Let E throw slants and screens mixed with Fornette and Guice...keep finding the TE...let Dupree take a rest until he gets his mind right...

was it the 34 vs an FCS team that makes you believe we can score 38 against an SEC team?

South Alabama beat this awful SEC team. They are a unanimous last place pick in the west. Listening to you negative shits you'd think it's Bama week. We will skull drag MSU.

Optimism I guess. I thought we would score 38 on JSU as well. I guess I just like the number. I did, however, predict that we would score 17 versus Wisconsin so there is that.

While I don't know about skull dragging them, I agree with you. All this talk makes one think State is some juggernaut.......they aren't.

It will be a tough 1st half, but if the offense under DE can effectively mix a few drive extending medium to short range passes, it's over.

JSU's offense is better than States.

I really have no idea what to expect.

Last week was completely schizophrenic.

And, Miles just seems fricking weird this season.

Maybe this week will be more informative
