Free Country. Let them do what they want. It's their loss and not yours.

I don't know of any event, concert, ballgame, church service, wedding, circle jerk, anything, where someone doesn't have to leave early. People have stuff in their lives. I've been to nearly every SEC stadium, the most passionate fanbases in college football, and it is the same. People on here bitch, but it could be Red Sox vs. Yankees, Iron Bowl, whatever. And no fanbase in the whole wide fricking world of sports has fans that sit to the bitter end in blowouts, but some internet geek runs here as soon as they can whip their Iphone out to bitch about someone leaving during the Towson game. Or sitting down. Or not screaming like an 18 yr old frat boy in a Tiger costume during every down. Geez.

Another My D--K is bigger than yours, I am a better fan because I stay post.
It is their damn money...you do not know what their reasons and responsibilities are.
If you want to spend the night, you do it.
Every season someone tries to tell others how to live their life.

Woah there big fella. It's ok. I'm not judging.

well those 5 minutes could mean the difference in about 2-3 hours of traffic.
ETA: i left my seats and stood at the portal with about 2 mins left.

If any around me did, I didn't notice.
I was enjoying the game.

sorry guy... it is just that this same post comes up each and every year....
and it is always "just wondering" why.

I also thought it was bizarre all the USC fans leaving early. I didn't see to many LSU fans leaving from our section though.

I was sitting on the West Side and about halfway through the 4th there were a decent amount of empty seats across the way in the East side lower bowl. Not complaining nor does it bother me, just figured I'd give my input

Where I was in east upper, everybody stayed. We rocked it out.

There was a sale on unsold Hot Dogs and they didn't want to miss out.

How long do people tailgate after the game in order to wait for the traffic to clear?
Posted on 10/15/12 at 9:56 pm to TigerPimpNationTrank
No one left early by me.

I was sitting on the east side lower bowl. People started leaving when it was 16-14, and I mean lots of people. WTF? We have a bunch of pansy arse fans!

I've always found this to be true, and have practiced it forever. If the game holds the crowd until the end, and you stay until the end, if you don't lolly gag around to watch the team sing with the SS, but just get up and walk to your vehicle, you can drive right out of there and never get caught in bad traffic. I've always done this. I park on Tower drive, and Saturday I got home in 30 minutes driving to Central, and I stayed until the clock was 00:00.
Now if you park a mile away you might have a problem.

I am not sure what the hell you slapdicks are talking about...I was in the west upper and can tell you, it was rocking the whole game...I usually see a good number of folks leave early, but not this past game...I don't think I saw as soul leave early...
I can also tell you without a doubt that because no one left early, the traffic was the worst I have seen in the decade that I have had season tickets...I broke out the grill and cooked after the game and the traffic was still gridlock at nearly 1 am when I packed it up...didn't get back to ellik until nearly 3 AM...
and to all of you numbnuts who sold your tickets because victory was not assured...please, please do it again...the crowd was much better without you...

We should just start barring the gates until the clock hits zero.

I was in 301 and didn't see anyone leave early. Not saying you're lying, but I didn't see it this game.

Additionally, traffic was nothing for me an I have no idea why. Live near Perkins/Siegen and I was home probably 20 minutes after the game ended--door to door. I think I discovered a great place to park and I'm not telling you bastards.

thinking about what the earlier poster said about him having so much trouble getting out. I imagine that you can't just get out of the upper deck near as easily as i can get out of the SEZ, and i'm sure as little as 10 minutes would make quite a difference. When i drove down Highland, the cops had not even put the traffic lights on amber yet, and they were all still just leaning on their cars not directing traffic yet. so i got a good jump to get home to central in 30 minutes.
