If you really read between the lines from the CFP Pres when he speaks, you can easily tell that he and the committee have a hard-on for Ohio State. They want to put them at #1, but can't do it right now because LSU has the better resume. BUT, just as soon as Ohio State plays ANYONE decent and wins, that will be all they need to justify bumping them up. This crap is all because of our defensive performance starting with the Texas game and carrying out through Ole Miss.
So, if Ohio State beats Penn State and LSU doesn't beat Arky by more than 50 points this weekend, OSU will be #1.
The good thing for LSU is I expect that after JaCoby Stevens calling the players defensive meeting, we will not have defensive issues anymore. I expect a shut out for Arky (60 - 0). Our defense issues are mainly a player issue - not scheme. Execution issues. The Ole Miss game was a wake up call.

I think LSU should be #1 in that scenario. I don't think LSU gets enough credit for their schedule. That being said, I don't think OSU's schedule is as cupcake as is being implied. OSU has a better schedule than Clemson or Bama.
What it really comes down to is that the ranking doesn't matter. Win your games and in the end you play each other.

It obviously wasn't the result I was hoping for but I was at that game and still had a great time taking my father to his first Buckeye game and the Purdue fans were pretty cool the before, during and after the game. I wouldn't trade the memories I made with my father for anything.
