So your logic is that it’s stupid to focus on one season but it’s smart to focus on one game lol. Brilliant and typical ranter logic.

Why are you trying to give O credit for the things that Devin White has done?

Why are so-called idiot LSU fans in this thread making excuses for a coach of another team?

A team that competes against LSU in recruiting. A team that when they do bad, it is GOOD for LSU. Huh?

And we have idiots like you making excuses for every coach in the country besides the coach at LSU. And you run between multiple message boards and threads to do it. You are one weird fan.

Well Jimbo did just get run off the field by a 4-4 team that was playing a freshman QB and missing their best defensive player.

Hell of a MOMENT for Jimbo if you were to ask me !!!

I don't agree with very bad seasons. #1 it's TCU, a program that shouldn't have relevance. He built them to have enough to: #2 TCU moving to the Big 12 to play with big boys.

Patterson has 4 seasons total of a losing record in conference. 3 have come in the Big 12 competing against the likes of OU and UT. He's also pulled off 12-1 and 11-2 seasons and 7-0 this season - this is TCU's 6th season in Big 12.

Reminder -- It's TCU.

Patterson had 8 10+ win seasons prior to Big 12 and 8 Top 25, 3 Top 10 AP finishes.

Point being, his resume is rock solid. Like Jimbo's. CEO's resume is a recycled tampon in comparison.

So how much do you pay to get a coach that is not a guy that literally no one else was going to hire?

The guy who is 6-2 & 3-1 SEC as opposed to Jimbo's 2-5 & 2-4 ACC? $3.5 million. Quite a bargain considering?

How about FSU's win tonight?

For O to reach Jimbo and Miles level he needs to win a conference and national title

And then have a season where he starts out 2-5 with his only 2 wins being by 7 points each against teams like Wake Forest and Duke when he has a much more talented team.

I wouldn't spend that money but would O be worth a 12 million dollar buyout?

For a first year coach who is 6-2 and 3-1 SEC that seems very reasonable. Probably a little low for recruiting purposes.

Jimbo can tell a recruit that even though he had a losing season and got his arse kicked by every team with a pulse and Boston College, his buyout is still $40 million. That will raise recruits and their parents eyebrows.

I haven't paid attention much to FSU. Did they lose to someone the caliber of Troy?

It's more about their 2-5 record and who they barely beat to get their two wins.

because injuries and youth was apparently an acceptable excuse to lose to Troy and get anally abused by Mississippi State when O did it, but for some reason it's not acceptable when a coach with a much more impressive resume does it against a much tougher schedule.

So a first year head coach with brand new OC, WR and RB coaches loses two games they shouldn't early in the season despite having played over 30 freshmen with 8 starting is HORRIBLE and no excuses can be made.

But a FSU coach who has not had time to install his system or recruit a full cycle of players goes 2-5 and loses to teams he shouldn't have with one freshman having to play, is par for the course and should be ignored.

Let's do the flow on this:

1. OP brings up Jimbo and CEO
2. Response is OP is laughable
3. Jimbo resume > O resume
4. Jimbo season = crap
5. O season = Troy + MSU historic losses
6. Madking knighting
7. Madking deflects

Sounds legit.

If Jimbo is a one-hit wonder, Orgeron is a no-hit wonder.

Still trying to solidify your reputation as one of the biggest dumbasses on this board, I see.

Who is trying to make this thread about history? The OP talking about the FSU team quitting on Jimbo is THIS YEAR. Not the past.

FSU's dismal season while ignoring LSU lost to Troy

After FSU's beatdown tonight it looks like their dismal season is continuing.

After LSU's last three games it appears that their season has turned around for the best.

Their only three points was a direct result of the worst officiating I have seen since the Ark vs UF game in 2009.

FSU in its current state is total trash, but I would love to hear the explanation for this comment.
