Anyone saying "underwhelming" probably thought Cam Cameron was an awesome hire.

it seems like we only hired Peetz because he's worked one year (1!!) under Joe Brady.

Now look, I hope he's Brady 2.0, but it doesn't seem like O truly searched the nation for the best OC we could find. We hired a QB coach under Brady because Brady said he was good.

Maybe he'll be fantastic, but this is the definition of an underwhelming hire.

Who said that? I don't really know much about the guy but he seems pretty smart and I'm kind of excited to see how the offense goes with him.

Like I said in my post - I like the idea. If Coach E is stil on staff along with Callahan, there may be 4 of these guys that can game plan, teach the system, etc.

It looks like a solid plan by Coach O.

But.... this cat hasn't called plays before. His resume looks good. But it's too early to say either way.

We might have a better idea AFTER we whip UCLA.

Brady is on a short list of hires to be a head coach, wouldn’t he want those guys on his staff if he liked them so much?

Well he's probably not going to be a head coach for at least 5 years if not longer. So I would think those guys have plenty of time to learn and master their craft. If they want to move to the NFL, they will move to the NFL.

You’re in for a surprise. He’s already gotten multiple NFL HC interviews this year

Well I wouldn't say underwhelming, but it sure is we'll have to see hire. I mean he has never called plays and played defense. Good thing about that is he knows coverages I would think.

Bama‘s last two OC hires was Lk and SS. Our last two were SE and JP. Seems advantage Bama to me, but I’m willing to let Coach O have who ever he wants after 2019.

Might sound silly but hire ZVR in a recruiting capacity. On recruiting visits he would certainly know how to arrange meetings between LSU Coeds and recruits, it would just a meet and greet type affair. It would persuade me to sign with LSU.

If you’ve never called plays then your resume for OC is not good.

This was done hastily so we will see how it works...if it does not there are still plenty coaches around....O can once again hire a friend of a friend...nothing new here.
