Did y’all just not watch this season before this weekend or last season? A lot of people in this thread showing why they aren’t coaching anything

I'd go with Merrifield at third, Doughty at short, Bianco at second if you're going to play Bianco anyway. Dugas in left and DH Thompson if Berry can't hit right handed. Thompson hasn't been hitting worth a shite but LSU doesn't have too many right handed options.
I know we've tried Doughty at short but he doesn't drop routine fly balls, and makes more plays than Thompson. We also need his bat in the lineup.

I don't know why everyone is saying this about Merrifield now. He looked good at third last night and he started the season well at the plate. What happened for everyone to start saying Merrifield can't play baseball. I must've missed it.

I mean he's got a lower fielding than Thompson by like 50 points. Granted with a smaller sample size.
Offensively they are almost identical statistics wise.
