Bama MBB made almost 10 million in profit last season and they weren’t jack shite a few years ago.
The wasted opportunity in LSU MBB is depressing. If we actually invested in MBB, the additional profit would actually benefit baseball and other sports. Unfortunately the AD and fans have been too shortsighted to understand basic financial implications.

If they dont make the tourney he has to go BUT i will root for him wherever he lands. Hes a good coach but has some terrible luck. And seems like a solid guy. Just hasnt worked out here.

I'm all for it if he earns it and makes the NCAA, especially after an 0-4 SEC start. (Don't see it happening but anything could happen.)

What's "Mind Boggling" to me are the shear number of individuals that "Make Excuses" in not only Basketball, but in all LSU sports.
It's symptomatic of the entire State of Louisiana and flows right down to LSU Athletics.

I see the defense has been much better than past teams. I see him drawing up good plays. His rotations are much better this year. He has made good in game adjustments. Like I said, he has made some mistakes, but to suggest that he is a terrible coach is ridiculous. He may not have been ready for the SEC initially, but his timing was part of his bad luck, since the SEC has never been this good. Simply using his record to claim he is terrible without context is simple-minded. I think we could do far worse, and I’m not sure we could do much better when resources are level.
