Hanover had become a greater defensive liability than Helenihi is an offensive liability.

So why, oh WHY, wasn't Helenihi pinch hit for in a spot where we desperately needed OFFENSE in the 8th?

Yea seriously. He didn't start sucking defensively until the regional when mainieri pulled him. But i'm not even saying Hanover should start. I'm not even saying helenihi should be benched. I'm just saying he's an awful batter but I trust mainieri's judgement on whether or not to play him

So Hanover's total fielding percentage got below .900 all because PM pulled him since the regionals? Ya right.

All of you "if ain't broke..." people would have never gotten to this point because the Tigers were ranked in the top 5 of the country all year and Mainieri made some lineup changes.

Good coaches are always looking to get better.

I totally agree with this...I have no idea why PM decided to pinch hit for Nola instead of Helenihi.

Lolz at people choosing derek. He's a decent player but anyone who chooses him ok tyler just makes me laugh. Now if he's hurt that's different.

Don't forget that he hit a homerun vs. Rice two weeks ago.

you missed when he swung 2-0 right after the pitcher walked someone when we were trying to mount a rally?

This was a coaching mistake too. He should have been given the take sign until the pitcher threw a strike.
