If true (which I doubt) it would mean a very quick decision that was purely based off of emotion in the moment which is always a bad idea

Also doubt it’s true but Nuss has had weeks of very vocal speculation to consider what he’d do.

He’d have a hard time selling openly quitting on your team to NFL execs along with his piss poor on-field performance.

How does an average QB have a “camp”?

fricking music to my ears!

i was hoping he would opt out, so we can FINALLY, after 5 fricking years of this guy, be rid of him...

and as far as him "preparing for the draft", yeah, there ain't no amount of work that can compensate for what every scout has already seen of him... there is ample amounts of tape of how horrible his mechanics and habits are... if he can't avoid a pass rush and extend drives with a scramble in college, how in the frick does he expect to do it in the NFL?

he is not an NFL QB, hate to break it to him, but EVERYONE knows it, at this point... from the turnovers, the inability to run when needed, to the backfoot passes, all of it... he's a 5th year Sr QB who has the same bad habits and tendencies that HS freshman JV QBs have.... it's actually amazing that he's gotten to this point, starting for an SEC power program while having some of the worst footwork, habits, mechanics, and lack of escapability....

quote:

the #18 jersey and this “so called” tradition dies a sudden death

yeah, it needs to... the lore has worn off at this point.... same for #7... it's watered down and doesn't hold the same weight that those numbers used to... time to turn the page on that

If there are any nfl execs still looking at him he could likely sell them oceanfront property in Bentonville. He could always hang on to that “injury” excuse.

Dude threw for 4000 yards last year, entire team sucks this year and he’s a bad QB? Some of y’all are just delusional.

Lost a ton of respect for Nuss and people in his camp. His whole camp is pissed that he got pulled.

Boo Hoo - if this happens, it shows even MORE lack of leadership for a supposed Team Captain

BB?

I’m either drawing the most obvious blank of all time or missed something somewhere?

He could prolly sell his tape from last year and be diplomatic about the disfunction of Kelly and the O line and make a practice squad.

It’s a long shot, but he could lean into that coach’s kid with character angle.

That goes away if he openly quits during the year.

I mean, he can try. But then he would have to actually do something good in the combine.

We get it that your are embarrassed that you pushed MVB so hard. It was a mistake. But lying to deflect from what a dumnbass you were, wont get you a pass

Dude give it up. Anyone with 2 eyes and a couple of functioning brain cells could see the offense looked much better after Nuss was benched.

You havent seen enough already? Hes bad More sacks, more turnovers, lower comp rate, ad a god awful ypa avg. Plus fumbling inside his own territory. Bama was taking pity kneels on us after that

Are we talking about Nuss? Our 5th year senior? The guy who we were counting on to lead this team. MVB is a back up and a 2nd year player. I am cutting him more slack because he still has the potential to improve. Nuss is a finished product and he is a disaster. I honestly don’t think Van Buren will be here next year. I’m sure the new coach wants to pick his own QB.

This dude somehow managed to follow Burrow and JD as a fifth year stater and was even in Gatorade commercials, yet sucked so fricking bad he went from potential top pick to probably selling Northwestern Mutual trash next year. What a guy.

We can’t get this dude off the team soon enough so we can forget about him.
