Feels like we sent that blitz at them about 5 years in a row. Delpit

I'm really looking forward to them being here for Gameday. I have a feeling Herbie will roast them all morning for it.

McElroy backpedals and says he immediately thought targeting and said as much during the game. Now sees that it wasn't as bad as it appeared and wished there was an appeals process.

McElroy did a complete 180 on that topic because he realized how stupid he sounded trying to make that penalty legit.

That’s awesome. This is really becoming fun. Honestly, I think something may actually change.

Because of this, it will be mighty hard for the SEC officiating crew to make the usual, crucial call that breaks the Gumps’ way without serious blowback.

Herbstreit does a better than decent job hiding his understandable Ohio State fandom. But as a Ohio State fan, he understands that no one gets away with things like Alabama. Ohio State gets in trouble for free tattoos. Ole Miss gets in trouble for letting recruits sleep on sofas. Meanwhile Alabama is buying houses, DA's, blatantly disregarding NCAA rules on recreational drug and PED testing and given carte blanche by Emmert's NCAA on buying players. That's why the "everyone does it" self-flagellation line is music to Alabama's ears. Yes, everyone bends NCAA rules, but no one but Alabama is completely illegitimate in regards to his procurement of players and disregard for NCAA rules.

There is...all the sec has to do is request the NCAA look at it

It shouldn't make bama nervous. This has everything to do with the SEC office. This has nothing to do with bama unless the implication is bama is part and parcel with the SEC office.

Herbie is legit pissed off about that call. He would have embarrassed him on his own radio show and I'm sure McElroy is aware of that fact.

Herbie is just taking pre-emptive action for Gameday. He doesn't want a golf ball to the dome.

Would someone elaborate on this? I "believe you" but I'd like to know the show and how this was set up?
