When the starter and backup are both injured?

Not sure if you watched Stidham in the AFC title game but that is a good Nuss comparison. If he can stay healthy, he could make a great career and a lot of money being a back up.

For sure! Both Jaden Daniels and Joe Burrow can run and its part of their success. However both have been injured repeatedly.
Neither finished this last season.

What qualities besides a good arm does he possess that would make him a damn good nfl QB?

He’s small, plays scared, is not accurate, doesn’t elevate his teammates, played poorly vs strong competition

this...

i'd actually be surprised if Nuss actually is on an NFL roster, vs. being on a practice squad, and if he has a career longer than 5 years...

his footwork is BAD... like "what NOT to do at QB" instructional video bad... and that's not even getting into the fact that he's a fricking statue, especially at the next level...

Statuesque qbs have to out prepare defenses ,especiallyin the NFL. We all saw Nuss’s off season between 2024 and 2025.

Seems like one of the complaints during the season (and last year) was that he doesn't take off like Jayden Daniels did. Daniels could get a 15 yd

No one expected Nuss to be JD. We did expect him to pick up the occasional 1st down when the seas parted.
There isnt a single starting nfl that doesn't have more mobility than Nuss. Rodgers at 40+ has better mobility.

Seems to be chatter building that the Jets are looking at him with one of their 2nd rd picks.

Which, interestingly enough, would put him in line to start sometime next season, same way Shough did for the Saints, because the Jets ain't got nobody.

So I've read comments like this made a lot, but didn't hear what actually occurred.

What happened in the offseason?

edit to ask:
So he didn't do the "summer of 10000 passes" with his receivers, like Burrow did.

Did he go and spend the summer with his dad? Because that may actually not be a bad thing, as his dad is an NFL OC and QB coach. Maybe not the best for his senior yr here at LSU, but possibly better for his own development overall.

Nuss will be an NFL starter for one day thanks to the Make A Wish foundation after Brian Kelly diagnosis him with ab cancer.

Yeah, when the starter and backup are both injured going into a game - and Philip Rivers turns down another offer to come out of retirement.

Youre so full of shite

The final 2 QBs are Darnold with a total of 92 yds thru 17 games = 5 yds per game. And Maye is at 26 yds per game

The top QBs by rushing EPA for '25
1) Allen
2) Dart
3) Mayfield
4) Mahomes
5) Lawrence
6) Jackson
7) Hurts
8) Purdy
9) Jones
10) Stroud

50% which didnt make the playoffs

The top QBs by passing yards for '25
1) Stafford
2) Goff
3) Prescott
4) Maye
5) Darnold
6) Lawrence
7) Williams
8) Nix
9) Hebert
10) Mayfield
11) Allen

Only two didnt make the playoffs. Seems like the passers have the NFL figured out way better

I see you still think that people criticizing his poor decision making when it comes to running equates to wanting him to be a “running QB”

In your second list no one would confuse
Prescott, Maye, Lawerence Nix, Williams, Herbert, Mayfield or Allen with being “statuesque”

Nuss is a statue or an idiot with his decision making

He either couldn’t run or refused to run. Both years. It cost us first downs that would have continued drives and touchdowns

218 career rushing TDs by these guys. The only two that are not mobile are the 1st 2 lol. What a dumb fricking post

How nice for their individual stats. Didnt seem to move their teams forward

And yet NFL teams still went with Stafford, Flacco, Brissett, Geno, Cousins, Rivers, Rogers, Goff, Prescott (10 yds per game). Nuss will be just fine in any one of those systems

What a dumb fricking counter

Your post was about how many of those players made the playoffs. Yet now you want to post a list of random qbs who only 2/10 made the playoffs and the majority had poor years?

In one post you are using a list with Patrick Mahomes intended to be a negative but then want to use geriatric Phillip Rivers as support for Nuss…..

Im really failing to see the thought process
